so i think i have a plant that is going hermie on me.. I posted a thread asking for a second opinion but nobody has an opinion on this one.. go figure..lol so here is the possible hermie, hermie 033.jpghermie 026.jpghermie 021.jpg
so that being said i want to hand pollinate my c-99 but i don't want to screw up the strain by adding a hermie trait to them.. so by using the pollen from the hermie will the seeds turn hermie on me when they grow out???? will they be a female seed or will they be a regular?? thanks

Hi there

No easy solutions there mate. If the plant went tranny on you due to irregular light cycles and or light leaks during the dark period then you may still have a shot at using the pollen in a breeding attempt. My gut tells me that if the plant hermied all by itself without an environmental trigger than youd be wasting yr time & electricity using it as you are passing on dud traits(assuming you are not breeding for transexual plants). Always keep a mother plant & experiment on her clones...if it works then youve lost nothing if it dont work youve still gotva steady supply of clones on the female side. Good luck.
