Using LED lights for the first time.

Has anyone used the Pro-Grow 180 LED lights? What's the purple setting for? when should I use that setting? Do I use it before I put the plants into flower?

i have a pg-180. both spectrums can be used for all growing. i have only used it for flowering and a 12/12 from seed. but a plant uses both spectrums during ether veg or flower they just use more of one at a time.

they're for decorating your xmas tree. get a 1000w hps with a cool tube, chiller, ice box, 55gal drum of water, sub pump. you'll be making your money back and have a few free xmas trees.
