Using HPS from day 1 (is it suitable for veg?)

Hi, I was wondering If I could use the same HPS lamp for the whole life cycle of the plants?

I plan on getting a super High Power Sodium with HID

The lamp has the following characteristics:

Increased PURple output with purple gas in arc tube
Increased red output to enhance flowering & fruiting yield
Increased blue output to enhance vegetative growth
Increased yellow output to enhance chlorophyll synthesis and lumens rating
Decreased green output to increase photosynthetically useful radiation ratio (Maximizing PUR and PAR)
Increased glass thickness at base to manage higher pressure.
Long life and economical, works with any average or high quality HID ballast.

So it has increased blue output, but the chart for this lamp shows mainly light in the red/yellow and not very much in the blue

So I was wondering if this lamp will be able to grow my plants during the veg state, or I must use a different one.

any HPS bulb will do just fine for veg and bloom.
while it is prefered to use MH for veg and HPS for flower your plants will thrive on HPS alone and there really isnt any need to buy super high dollar bulbs with increased spectrums.
