Using H202 with Eco-plus Pumps

Ok guys i wanted to ask if anyone has had problems running h202 with the eco-plus series pumps. I started using h202 lately in my stink bud aero-systems to help combat any algae that might occur with the warmer temps i have been having; however, my clones have taken a long time to root since i started using the peroxide. Today i was cleaning out my reservoirs and when i started flushing out the filters in my pumps i noticed they were foaming profusely. At first i thought it was just bacteria being killed by the h202 but then the filter started smoking! Apparently there is a chemical reaction that this filter material has with the h202. I investigated further and i found a bunch of little pieces of the filter throughout my rez. These pumps and filters are fairly new so this is not due to the filter being old. This was definitely a chemical reaction as i was holding the filter and sprayed it w/a 17% H202 solution and it started smoking and got very hot(i had gloves on)
I was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this?

yah, it was frickin strange. There is no question though, that the peroxide was eating the filter. I wonder if maybe eco-plus has changed their filter material? I dunno but i took out the bio filters since i have my pumps in cheesecloth socks.
