Using electronic/computer posts as evidence?

From my knowledge they can track back ip addresses and whatnot to locate and survey you. So if you post massive rooms of weed then it's not hard to be found. Unless of course you know how to cover your Internet footprint.

In fact they often catch most of the worlds hackers just by them forgetting to cover the address once......that's all it takes.

I think if the ip addresses are contained in a forum located in a different country, it would be much much more difficult for them to nab you. And way more work. It's not like they sit there and intercept the post/pictures as it goes zooming by. They have to get the site to release the information.
