Using aluminum foil for my bowls, is this safe?

I usually rip up big nugs into smaller bits. I would drum seal my glass bowl with aluminum foil and poke small holes in it, then rest the shreded bud on the aluminum foil and smoke it.

Im concerned that the heat from the lighter might heat the aluminum and I end up enhaling something I shouldnt?

I heard once that smoking through aluminum greatly increases your risk of getting alzheimers but I dunno how much truth there is to that.. And why does aluminum come into the equation if you have a glass piece?

Glass bowl? Break up 90% of your weed fine, then put a small piece in the bottom, st the hole. Unless you're smoking out of a meth pipe.

go to your headshop and get a GLASS screen. The improvement in the taste over metal is worth the buck. I bought 6 of them a year ago and I have all of them except the one I gave to my buddy. Plus, as long as you dont lose it you can use the thing FOREVER. It will also help you keep the ash out of your bong.
