Using 2 grow boxes for quicker harvests

Im using 2 grow cabs and toying on what the most efficient way is for quickest harvest turnaround.

I would much prefer to have a mother plant going for clones but dont think it will work with space i have so it seems either grow from seed and veg for 2-3 weeks using lst then putting in larger cab for flower and having next ready to replace so a 8 week harvest
or having a mother in small cab but to get same turnaround will also need to veg 1-2 clones alongside so any ideas on if should stick with 1st plan or any suggestions to what else i can do?

I think only 1 plant will be realistic but would like 2 going

these are the dimensions 24"tall 16wide 9.5depth and larger is 36" tall and a pic (have a big light upgrade will be real watts cfls 110-120w in small cab and 200-220w flower who knows what made me think 3 12w cfls will be enough in each!)

I rotate and it works out well. I veg for 4 weeks under MH, switch to 12/12 still in MH for 2 weeks, then move them to flowering box with 6 weeks of flowering left to go. At that point I can start germing my next set for veg. With 3 in veg and 3 in flower at all times you are looking at harvesting every 6 weeks.

Fewer, large CFLs will work a lot better than lots of small ones.

Have you grown in those little rubbermaid DWC totes yet? If not, might wanna consider ebb&flow/coco/soil. They're a lot more forgiving.

just my .02

Just some failed lowryders big mistake with lighting, ive tried measure up big ones all them with the reflector wont fit and any bigger than 23w wont get in right places i have y splitters now and extenders with a hanger in veg and 2 in flower box so alot more flexibility.

Im worried it will be to small they are 5 litres so need stable nutes, the ec and ph were all over the place with first attempts but i was using some awful cheapo solid nutes that didnt even have a name so im hoping was down to that

Would have been better off with small T-5 fixtures. Those CFLS will be too far away and it looks like you can't move them unless you are using velcro.

You could use the little cabinet to veg your mother. Then in big cabinet build a plywood dividor. Measure the inside of the cabinet. buy 2Buy 2 precut 2x4 from homedepot. Measure length and width of inside the cabinet Buy a precut plywood from homedepot. Nail 2x4 to left, and right side of the cabinet. Nail the plywood to the 2x4. you couldn't use a 2x4 cause it would be to difficult to nail into a 2x4. plus your cabinet is too thin.

The cfl strip attaches at multiple heights has a nail indent bit and simply plugs in on the nail and as mentioned cfl hangers hanging at whatever level they need to be with 2x 24w on each.

More concerned with being enough root space to fill flower box and get over an oz for 1 plant but hope i can churn 2oz a harvest, was going to lst first then try scrog when build it to attach to container for moving about, the net pots are just 2" also..i would just go soil if not achieveable but as ive paid out for ec/ph meters pumps all that crap dont wanna throw money away

1 plant will flower in their okay. You would get a ounce in that small of a space. Use scrog or topping to promote your plant to be more bushy.

as for DWC bubbleponics works not hard to setup easy to clone plants. replace nutrients 1 a week. Thats the only DWC system i understand. aeroponics is too hard for basic growers.
