Used household sugar on the roots before i cupped the cloneling haha

Guess im ass broke as most new growers are and I decided to take some cuttings from my gws strain since its such an easy plant to grow and a high yielder.
So I had been debating about what to do for rooting gel, and I made up my mind hell Im gonna take the best cutting make sure the bottom of the cutting is wet and then use regular household sugar as a root stimulator, and guess fucking what it acctually worked, I see new pistles on her this morning yay.
hope this helps anyone else in a bind for cash, I figured plants use glucose and put two and two together and hey I saved my strain ass broke. YAY.:dunce:

you saw roots or pistles? just curious.. Got any pictures?

i just did a experiment with 8 clone's 4 with rooting powder 4 with nothing only one with out powder didnt root and it was the one i droped (im so damn clumsy) so id say with strains that just like to take root (Whiteberry in my case) you dont realy need anything

Ive read that said quite alot, i believe molasses would work but not houshold sugar.

Ive also read that most rooting gel's are molasses based and lookin at mine, i can believe it.

When i next take clones i'm gona give molasses a try on some and rooting gel on others and see the results.

Dont think that using houshold sugar is good advice for the first time cloner or any cloner for that matter. sorry desistoschoolhater

Dont care it worked i used what i had laying around the house and it worked so im happy i saved my strain on a budget and fyi gws is a easy strain to grow and high yielding.

it probably did work... that doesn't change the fact that the plants can't use refined sugar so your clones just took using good ol' mother nature and no boosters


molasses isn't all that helpful to the plants themselves either, but it is beneficial to the micro nutrients in the soil, which in turn gets transferred to extra energy for the plant.

yah i was about to say this i mean rapidrooters plus rooting gel there good ENSURERS for atleast 1 on a stubborn plant but in all honesty you dont need any stimulation period to produce roots got blueberry to root in plain water plain distilled water
