I am a true Brit and recently went to California. I was allways of the opinion that Americans were just an extension of us English folks....but how I was wrong, I conclude that US people are Different and very very culturally different.....Any Brits agree and what is the Yank perception of us Brits.

Personally i am impressed by what i saw in the US but think you guys are a unique race.

Where did you visit while in California?

FYI - California is a lot different than Texas or Ohio.

Some of us lift the seat before we take a piss... others of us just piss all over the fooking place...

the midwest farmers daughters really make you feel alright, and the northern girl with the way they kiss, they keep thier boyfriends warm at night.
I wish they all could be............ Yep we are a different race.
I have only been through England, Heathrow twice, never enough time to get out and look around, and it would take a while to get used to driving on the 'wrong side' of the road. We have hosted and supervised high school students from all over the world and visited a few of them. We think people are people whereever you go. The same prejudices exist, the only thing that changes is the race of people you are supposed to hate. If you take the time to know those folks you will probably find they are not much different then you and I. VV

I have always thought that British police just seemed more friendly then American police. Its probably just the hats though...

I have travelled all over the states and have seen all kinds of people across america. I have also been to the UK and have seen their view on americans. I am Canadian and the people I spoke to in the UK knew right away. They said they can tell by our language and accents. As well as our behaviour. Canadians are more like the britts I think. Shit we still toast the Queen here, lol :peace:

I like Canadian police too. I spent enough time up north that I "grew" to love Canada before sliding back south to the states. I still get asked about my accent years later. I miss the northwoods...

California is an entire different country on it's own.
The Yank perception? Brits are just like us, except super-prudes.
