i put a rockwool cube and the directions said to soak in water then to put a little phdown in so i did very little like 3 drops then when i took it out it was very wet soo i tried delicately to put it down and cut my clone clean razor blade at a 45 degree angle dipped in the root solotion put in hole and covered it a bit but the rock wool was liek really squishy and i but i tried my best not to lose the shapt of the cube but i did a lil and put it in a zip lock back witha with 2/10th of the bag open for ventilation please anyone just let me know if i did this right if not so i can change the method and save the lil clone now that it has only been ten mins in the bag thanks alot people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kinda wasted so that was really hard to understand. You have got a ph meter right? Your not just adding drops of ph down to stuff with out measuring it? From what i understand rockwool cubes don't come outa the pack at the right PH so you need to flush it or soak it in ph corrected water...like bring your water down to 5.8 and soak it ...don't run hydro but i've read some shit. The shape and saturation of the cube doesn't matter as it long as it isn't under saturated..but why the ziplock bag? i have never seen that...put your clone under cfl light inside a plastic dome or propagator and mist often for a few days till it roots..

You did it fine.....And I never worry about ph .....IMO...they dont have roots so ph and nuke uptake is not a issue ....now i use pro mix and in 2 weeks i will transplant and start phing every time i water/feed. when the clones are done they will look just like they do here green and strong.....Smokejoint is right you need a tray and a dome. GL OH and also very important warm clones from below to promote root growth. As you can see in picture i have peg board on top shelf to let heat up to warm my young ones...below is a 600 watt MH light
