URGENT: Non-Stop Growth Problem

Personally I would probably do a 20/4 or 18/6 light period, auto's under 18/6 generally "optimal" (I believe...there is an auto flower thread with auto growers you might want to search for better info)

I did some auto's I got as freebies, both in my veg tent (18/6) and my flower tent (12/12) and the one's in the flower tent stretched like crazy and didn't stop, just like yours. When I threw it into the veg tent the stretching stopped.

IMO, plants need a "dark" period, even auto's. Good luck with your grow

If anyone can answer my post with regards to cutting a small bud, drying it so that it is ready to be smoked for 4/20, I would really appreciate it.

If the trichs aren't ready you'd just be wasting what would be perfectly good weed! Sorry brah

Damn thats a real downer. The question is. How will I know its ready?
I know the trichomes need to be amber.

People have the wrong idea about trichomes. Not all strains turn amber, or even cloudy for that matter. A better measure is watching for the swell of both the trichome head, and the calyx's.

Wolve thanks for the precise info. But how can I notice if they are swollen? And what is the calynx?
The problem is I dont have a microscope or a special device to see them.

The calyx is what the pistils (hairs) grow out of, when they're ripe the calyx's will swell up almost like they contain seeds. The trichomes will look like a swelled up balloon on the end of a string. Go to ebay and order a loupe for less than $5.
