Upstate from BC Seeds - Has anyone grown it?

Hello Everyone:

I started this thread in the hopes that I might be able to find somebody out there who has successfully grown the BC seeds strain that is called Upstate.

Whether it be indoors or outdoors, I'd welcome your comments. I'd especially like to know if anyone can verify that it is a big yielder. Especially outdoors.

I have a few of the feminized Upstate and was thinking about giving them a go outdoors in a few months time.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Sincerely,

Buckets:weed:

ARRRRRR...BC seeds is a total fucking rip off. First of all how do they have all these "amazing" genetics? How can they charge so much when they have never won a cannabis cup. They have a pack of 80 seeds for $8000.00, no not a typo, $8000.00. AYKM!!!

Ouch. Guys. Can I ask the both of you have ever ordered from BC seeds? There are plenty of people out there who are upset at the prices at bc seeds. I grant you that the prices of certain strains are the highest in the world in some categories. But others are still very reasonably priced. I say this because I actually have ordered from BC seeds on at least four occasions. And I always got my shit.

My advice is don't live in the USA. Period. I don't know if you are or not.

Everything I ordered arrived plus I received very expensive bonus seeds. They didn't send crap.

So if you're bitching about the prices...ok...fine.

However, maybe this seed developer really knows how to create all sorts of excellent strains. We need more people with that ability. Especially for the medical marijuana industry.

But I'd like to hear from people that have actually gone ahead and not only ordered the seeds, but have successfully grown the plant to a successful harvesting phase.

Upstate...I am looking for anyone that has the balls to grow this strain to where you cropped out A-OK! Anyone want their 15 minutes?

With thanks,

Buckets

They do not list their genetics, they have never won any awards, I have never heard of their seeds in a dispensary, I have seen ~2 grow reports and the results were very mediocre, the prices are retarded, they have no reputation...

Why would anyone order from them? To prove that they suck? Or to blow their money?

Well I ordered and I received really good seeds in my opinion. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has grown the strain known as Upstate.

If you haven't ordered from BC seeds and you just want to be negative, please go somewhere else to write about them. I'm trying to find somebody who has grown this strain so I can get the information that I need. That's what this thread is for.

Thanks...

i have grown many of the strains from bc seeds. i stand behind all bc products. they do have some of the best genectics in the world. i'm currently growing upstate. its still in the vegitation stage but so far it looks great. its growing much faster and bigger than the white widow i have going. ( both were planted at the same time) people online swear this site is a scam because of the cost and they only accept cash. first of all they have a hugh selection of affordalbe strains. then they have more expensive strains which can go for $1,000+, but they are the worlds strongest. i personally like that they only accept cash because it leaves no paper trail. i was afraid like many that i would send the money and get nothing inreturn, but that did not happen. i recived the seeds in about two weeks. 9 out of 10 germinated. bc seeds is the best company for customer service and they blow there compition out of the water.

p.s they also offer amazing discounts of over 50% off all there strain. cheap and expensive.

Let's see your pics and grow/smoke reports.

May we see pics?

No we say they are a scam because:

This is the rip-off section. The following seedbanks I've heard many bad things about. They are NOT recommended. aka means also known as. X means they seldom or never send the product. N means sending non viable seeds (non sprouting seeds) M indicates they send very inferior seeds or nothing at all

A-1 Seedbank (X,N)
BC Seeds (X,M)
Beeoo (X)
Fairlight (X,N)
Greenmanspage (X,M)
marijuanaseed.us (X) Software Services aka Cannabis4u aka Medical hemp aka [email protected] [L.Pafort] (X)
Richies Seedshack (X)
Stinkey's (X)
Weedseed (X)
Pot a Gold (X)

first of all they have a hugh selection of affordalbe strains.
With no genetic listings, no awards, STATING they make up all their information!

then they have more expensive strains which can go for $1,000+, but they are the worlds strongest.
No they are not! They do not test their products, hell GHSC actually tests their THC %.

You work for them.

50% off of $1000+ is not cheap for seeds!

EDIT:

You have one post TheUpstate let's see some proof.

Holee cow man! The negative energy spear you just threw was harsh man. Especially if you haven't ordered from them. As I say, I've also sent cash on four different orders and I got my seeds but I say again...don't live in the USA or you take the risk.

There is a guy on rollit up named Jasper2478 and he grew elephant bud from BC seeds and he was a newbie. Check his thread out. Sadly, his elephant went to seed. Now he has going some other stuff from bc seeds.

You guys that are being hard on wanting the facts...there were heaps of negative views through Jasper2478's thread but there were also many BC seed customers who love the genetics that this person develops.

The summer is coming everyone, so to all those negative people who hate BC seeds...I simply say to you - buy a cheaper strain from them and try it out. But if you have bigger balls than that...buy some more expensive strains and do an experimental grow. Prove to yourselves and to us that BC seeds suck. But if you're wrong and you get happy product, then maybe you'll be just as honest and tell us how you did.

You negs have a good point that no one has heard about the detailed genetics of certain strains that they have at BC seeds. Few people have seen pictures, and some people who post responses tend to try to sell BC seeds favorably. Additionally, No Cannabis cup entries...those are all good points that you have made. For somebody that has not ordered from the company, I would worry too. But I made the order(s) and I have the seeds. And come summer time I'll find out if in fact certain strains at bc seeds are any good or not. Perhaps you negs could do the same.

I simply want information about Upstate as I'm doing my genetics research right now as we all should be. To the person that just wrote to me that is growing Upstate. Thank you for writing. How tall is the Upstate plant growing? As in...if I started it from seed in soil...how much would it grow in a month - I'm growing outside? I've heard that Upstate grows fast. Is that true? Lots of branches? How many months veg are you at?

Thanks for your response.

I have been around a long time bro, I have heard of a lot of people getting ripped off, I have seen it with RC's, MOM's, seeds, you name it. I am solely trying to say becareful, I would hate to have a good guy get taken advantage of. That's all.. if you like them, more power to you, just please becareful if you go to buy one of their expensive strains bud.

A big problem is they do not list their genetics.. like White Widow (the real white widow) is held by Shantibaba and Mr Nice, it is labeled as Black Widow (and I believe it is from 1994). The second closest (I believe) is by Arjan at GHSC (I think he snagged the genetics from MNS) and it is from 1995.

It just scares me a little bit when they do not list the hybridization, or when they list the genetics it conflicts with the listed phenotypic expressions.

This is the biggest thing that gets me... This is literally impossible. By no means on earth is it possible to yield
1) "several pounds" in a computer case
2) "several pounds" off of CFL's (that I know)

It is simply BC Seeds workers spamming here.

Sorry I can't help you, I am done flaming.. sorry to bother your thread, I am just trying to look out for you dude.

i give shepj alot of credit.. he/she is just trying to be a good person, and doesn't wanna see someone spend that kinda cash on bseeds beans, and get nothing near the money back.. very good of you shepj..
and i don't think buying some of the big buck strains from bc seeds has anything about having big balls or big labia or whatever... it is just about knowing that no strain is worth anywhere near the amount of money that companies like this try to charge for them, ever.. period..
one plant can easily yeild a couple thousand seeds, so how much should it really cost for said beans?
oh well.. i hope that for your sake you do plant that upstate and you end up getting ten pounds of primo smoke in return.. in fact, nothing would make me happier, as it would tell me that you aren't just another victim of bcseeds highly priced seeds..
i wish you the best of luck with your grow m8, but i will never understand why anyone would pay that kinda money for some mj seeds..

What a flaming heap of crap!!:cuss: you should go take those rip off BITCH seeds and shove them up your phoney baloney ass.

Stop trying to give real seed companies and breeders bad names by blatantly taking advantage of obvious simpletons who can't see through the absolute bullshit on that pathetic site.

Negative energy, I'll give you negative energy BUCKO!:cuss::cuss::cuss:

Where are the pictures??? Where are the you tube videos with people saying in the title what seed company their plants are from.

You don't see those videos because they don't exist. :dunce:

they don't exist because those assholes are a phoney company and no one is willing to admit they got ripped off or are too wise to ever fuck with those scam artists.

Sweet Jeezus!

There's some heat in the room isn't there.

Thank you for writing to me telling me about your upstate results man. That's appreciated.

Obviously there's a human condition that doesn't want to pay past a certain point for good ganja seeds.

Is Bc seeds a great breeder and developer of ganja strains? That's what they're basically saying with listing so many expensive strains, and some of you are pissed off about someone saying they're good at what they do.

I heard the other day that a person has to pay for a good indoor growing formula. I've only ever done outdoors so I don't know if that's hydro, soil or air. But if you have to shell out for a good growing formula, then I'm ok with shelling out to try...a great strain.

And folks, I haven't shelled out a lot of money. I haven't paid tens of thousands for some great strain. I've bought the strain called Upstate. The prices vary and you can pretty much get the strain for half off at X mas and pre spring sales.

So to those of you who are giving me a cautionary warning...thank you. You're points are received and understood. There were many others on Jasper2478's thread who felt the same way.

The thing is though, I already have the Upstate strain and I'm going to grow it.

As you know since you are all growers..soil composition is crucial and so is the strain. That's why this thread is here. I'm trying to research. I want to hear from you if you've grown this strain successfully please and thank you...

Those of you who have grown upstate, please tell me your story because I want to hear what your experiences were. I'd appreciate knowing as much as I can about how this strain is grown...yield...outdoor suggestions, topping etc? So please do post a reply.

I'm waiting to here from any Upstate growers.

My thanks to you.

I am growing BC SEEDS tightywhitey, Jack Frost, Elephant, Bluetooth, Super Shit and Big momma, they r massive the elephant takes a meter by its self, 2 1000 watt system on a 4 foot track. I worked with nirvana in the past an think BC is slightly better quality as the nugs had a higher tight form to fluff percentage than my 12 experiances through Nirvana. I love Nirvana so don't confuse what im saying. I'll have pics on of my bc plants and honestly i think upstate looks ok but watch out for plants described as tasting like brown sugar, or earthy, those are not the gratest flavor. My experiance with bc has been true so far I recomend them and say their yields my be outdoor yields but the plants are great and qualities are as described in myexperiance.

Thanks Mr. Kupcake:

What was your experience like with growing elephant? I have elephant outdoors on order but don't think they'll be ready in time for when I want to plantr Outdoors I mean. So I have a plan B of Upstate feminized.

What strain of elephant did you grow? Indoors? Outdoors? What was your yield like and how many plants? What would your recomendations be if you were to grow elephant outside?

Oh, and what do you think my chances are if I used a feminized version of Upstate?

Thanks,
