Upside down grow.

Do you think it would be possible to grow weed upside down like people do with tomatoes. They just use 5 gallon buckets with a hole in the bottom and a lid on top, Then they put the plant in it and hang it outside and then mother nature takes over. I wonder how this would work with an indoor H.p.s set up, i could see danger with water dripping on the lamp but Im sure someone could figure it out or perhaps give it a try.

probably would work, but my guess is that if it has gravity assisting it as well, that plant would stretch like a motherfucker.

thats just on top of the hole water drip and dirt fallin out bit.

my suggestion...fogettaboutit

a sheet of glass between the light and plant would take care of anything falling onto light. keep us posted if you try it, really gets my attention!

that same sheet of glass would also take away from usable lumens for the plant. i guess its cool for novelty, but its not going to increase yield and probably be more work than its worth.

omega garden grows upside down, sideways, and normal so you shouldnt have any problems growing upside down. I was thinking of trying it a couple months ago when I got some upside down tomato hangers.

According to the plea agreement, LATHAM designed eight machines out of aluminum that looked like ferris wheels. Each machine held 24 rows of plants with eight plants in each row for a total of 192 plants per machine. The plants would rotate around the machine, passing by grow lights, dipping into a hydroponic grow solution at the bottom or passing under a hydroponic grow solution,so yeah it can be done!!
