I used to do a small DWC for veg but the last 2 crops, i transplant earlier into what you see in the small plants, then i hand feed them till they go into the res(when roots come out i fill the tray with nutes and put an air stone in there) once in the res the roots are already hanging a few inches so my res nutes are never higher then an inch from the bottom of the buckets , usually 2-3 inches below, remember since im in coco most of the root are in the bucket being top fed with the drain holes haing whatever roots can come out, BUT sometimes i need to slow my nute floew on top cuz the roots wll clog the drain holes, making it slower, but its ok, the way i see it, my system is all of the hydro systems combined into one simplified version, BREAKDOWN is theres- DWC for hanging roots, coco medium with- top feed, also making it partially flood and drain, cuz it fills during top feed cycle then drains into the DWC res, all in an affordable easy tent, i love this style!!!!! NL is aesome smoke, easy to grow indoors, very forgiving plant smell taiste great, dense thick sticky buds, indica potent head high, good for headaches, and anxiety!!!! all around ood stuff, i think most will agree with this thats grown or smoked it!!! the other one on the left is a lemon skunk x white widow, sativa dominant!!!!
