Gypsy yup seen his grows and that kind of goes exactly with what i said. Big pots huge plants long grow times big lighting and lots of work for 1 lb dried per plant indoors. I know your refer to it as MBlaze method but its the basic lst and train method which pinching helps with to get more upward branches and he yields well on that. Not sure of total time on those grows but i am sure its pretty long on those big boys. Me I like to have different varieties so i do more smaller plants under less lights get similar 2 lbs yields with times under 8 weeks from start to finish and like to have 6-8 different grows at one time going so i can max my time and effort. The big boys are fun to see thoiugh just not always practical for those on time schedulues. I do want to do 1 big plant some time though but I do hate soil so I have 2 option s and may do both side by side. 1 in an giant hydro setup like 1 plant in a 40 gallon res and then I have a 40 gallon pot I might do one in soil just maybe a 600 watter on each near each other for shared lighting also.Gotta have time to do that though and Im pressed as is to the max with 18 hour work days then home chores and then babysitting all my little babies as is lol..Big can be beautiful lol hope you get your goals

I hear you on the LOONG ASS TIME...

I am not sure if you have ever seen my SOG...

But I am used to fast turn around and pretty decent numbers...

But I am afraid of the law...

AK has a huge step in penalty on 25 or more vs less... HUGE...

And with the SOG in full swing, I had over 300 plants at the house...

All tiny.. but plants no less...

Right now I am just freaking out at having the big lights on... making leaf intead of bud...:eyesmoke:

But I guess it will pay of...

I miss the 7 strain SOG already, and it is not even completely shut down yet...:lol:

But hopefully with the addition of the heavy yielding indica in the center of the sativa bush, it will help my quest for a lb...

My girls are in 19 gallon pots of hydroton win an ebb&flow/top feed hydro set up with a 50 gal res...

And Blazes are hand watered in coco...

Do you think I can expect the same yield from a 5" branch on a bushas compared to a 5" clone in SOG?

When growing bushes, do you think it is reasonable to assume an average of 1/8oz per top?

I hear ya lotta plants can be issues. Most of my spots I have things going at only have 25-30 girls. I tend to diversify and not do the at home thing. I do know if the bill passes maing it legal here to grow and its that 8 to 10 plant range I will have the biggest trees in my yard possible and will even run lights outside to speed it up lol. They never said how big of plants just how many lol Not usre how it will yield I never did a big bou so Im watching and learning to. I always have plants that are like 2-3 feet at finish and dont do any lst just some lollipopping and occassional topping or pinch. I am going to start trying some more to try and get more top colas. I always have issues with my plants getting so full. i cant get any stretch on them to get spaceing lol mine all look like solid rainforest no matter how much i seem to manicure them out it jujst pisses them off and they fill in more which is good and bad as I dont get the pentration of light I would like so that sucks. My goal usually is to get 1-2 dry oz off each plant which is tough enough and I find it hard to meet the 1 gram per watt therory but Im trying. I want to do the big plants sometime soon I had planned on just doing 5 under a 1000 watter and see what coulkd happen and do some training and topping t see if I could do something worth while but havent had time and ran out of spots to set new stuff up and try.

just thought id show her offthis plant blows my others away. it was a different strain than the others, one that coped better with the ph fluctations, and nut lockout.. i have learned from all that though. anyway what do yous guys think. ive had to tie the bitch up cuz the colas are so heavy :) and some pics of the others not as impressive know...:cry:

here some pics of my 8 girls 4 weeks flowering
there under a 600watt hps
there in coco terra soil
and im feeding them hammerhead pk 9-18 and every other feed im giving them canna coco veg&bloom a-b all in one solution
i vegged 4 5 weeks under three 300watt cfls=900
6 of them are topped i woulds have to take loads of photos to show u all the buds so heres some of them
wat do u think

60 tops with enough light Id say like 12 oz dry maybe asuming you have light from all directions and not just a single light above the plant
