The Camp Grounds your talking about is Not in Marquette County, Like I said there are No State Camp Grounds in MQT CNTY. only Private, if you want a good campsite in MQT drive 22 Miles North on County Road 550, To Perkins Park its run by the county but its a great site Easy Lake Superior drive or walk come up and check it out , I am sure you will love it :) Sorry I haven't been on for a long time due to an Illness. hope you get this ....

Perkins campground is a nice campground. The Lumberjack bar is one of my favs. Yes it is in Marquette county. The very northern part. All the other campgrounds I mentioned are in Marquette county though and none of them are private. Nothing at all wrong with Perkins though, we lived up on the yellow dog river for a little while, unbelievable country.

the garden penninsula is where i grew up and its usually warm being on lake michigan, if you drive about ten miles south of garden youll hit fayette state park. they have awesome campgrounds and beautiful beaches. a lot of history took place down there as well ;)
