Unused Plant

Heya,

I have totally under estimated the size of my three plants growing inside at the moment. They were fine for a few weeks until now and I am at a point of retransplanting them.

I had 3 pots in a 110litre box and with that all they needed to do i grow higher without any problems until flowering and then switch over to a HPS setup.

However they a going wider more than higher at the moment and the roots have reached the bottom of the pots and crawling out. I have moved one of the plants to the bigger pots BUT have room to accomodate for 1 other big pot.

What do I do with my left over plant. Do I leave it in that pot and let it grow until it cant any more. or do I just put it back outside under natural conditions. The reason for the 3 plants was to get a higher possibility of female from a seed I have no idea of the origin.

If i remove this plant or what ever and it is my female of the bunch I will be pissed. But I guess that is how it goes?

Pic of my two leftovers attached.

Thanks.

so if i got that right, you plants grow big roots, which is nice, now you had to re-pot them into bigger ones, okay fine, but you only got space for 2 of the big pots now?

if that is your problem, have you looked into square pots so far? they use up less space than the round ones...

Heya,

I willl have to hunt around for the square pots. Havent looked for them before, but i am sure they will be there..

One other thing.

Is it normal to have a root depth longer than the height of the plant? There is about 2-3 inch difference.

Thanks

Now is the time to experiment with them. Just for fun. Cut one of those babies in half. The other cut everything from the bottom up (in half just in the opposite direction). If you were gonna throw them out anyway. Try for a bush and a single cola plant. Or whatever you end up with. Let us know what happens.

Heya,

I DO like the idea of experimenting. Tis my first grow, but not shy of trying things too.

I understand the top cola project heheheh... The cut in half??? Just cut the top half of the plant off? Stem and all.... or just trim the leaves and stems?

Funny enuf I have another 8 plants on their second row of stems growing outside now so if things go wrong i can add them inside and start again....

Thanks.

Also,

The pots that the untransplanted plants are in, are 9 inches high. You think that with the experiementation they can stay in these pots thru veg and flowering?

Here are the plants by themselves.. Attached.

Thanks

Nice looking plants. Good color. It's all an experiment. Try transplanting one into a larger container and let the other one go.

Yeah,

I am going to move one over to new pot and just muck around with the other one. I am keeping a detailed log of it all since day one and will once the growing is done upload a diary of it all...

Then start again. Hhhehehe

Just finding it hard to find a seed source in Sydney, AU.

Thanks.

not to do with your first question,as mogie and those guys are full of really good info, but i have now had orders from ,both the u.k,and canada,no problems, but i would not go via holland.
my girlfriends son is going out with a ladie from customs, holland to them is like thailand,or asian countries they expect stuff from those sources?pretty myopic view, but i used to live in thailand for some years and everytime i came back home it was a visit to that little room in the airport.
good luck with your seed search,it is not as easy for us but dont let that stop you.
i am fortunate to have another address i can use but so far touch wood no hassles ,hope you get some mate i am in the west, good time to do it is before xmas as shit loads of mail from the u.k as so many poms live here, but that is a way off yet.:peace: p.s dont mention vegemite to these guys:mrgreen:
