I agree with the OP. Star Wars sucks. I thought it sucked back in the late seventies when I saw the original at a theater. I watched about half of the Empire Strikes back and thought that sucked as well. I haven't seen another Star Wars movie and don't plan on it because Star Wars sucks. I'd rather watch paint dry.

Oh I like Sci-Fi. I read just about every science fiction book they had in the school and public library when I was growing up and I still have a big box of comics from the seventies.
I don't care for these cheesy movies with crappy acting that use special effects to make up for bad storylines. I constantly hear people make comments about how good the special effects are. I watch movies for the acting and plot.
I don't understand how someone could come to the conclusion that I don't like sci-fi or comics because I don't like the special effect movies they crank out monthly these days.

You expect too much of movies. Smoke a J and just "be entertained", dorks like you who put movies under a microscope suck all the fun out of it.
IMO the effects in Jurassic World are WAAAY better than the effects in Jurassic Park, doesn't make it a "better" movie but visually it was way more entertaining.

Just looked at a trailer for the series on youtube. I'll pass. No way I could sit and watch that. I'd rather be out in the yard pulling weeds on a 105 degree day without anything to drink.

But I can watch movies like Black Hawk Down, We were Soldiers, Apollo 13, etc... again and again. I like movies based on real events with good acting. I find them much more mentally stimulating and thought provoking. Imagining what you would do, how you would react under those circumstances. I don't find the modern special effects movies entertaining. I find them boring. If I want to just kill time with some mindless plot I'd much rather watch Key & Peele or Dave Chapelle skits on youtube. Hell I'm more entertained watching those videos of people farting in public than some movie made in Maya or 3D Studio.

it's all good, the comic series is excellant imo....just hope they do it justice.....Neal Giamen is the one who wrote it....can't wait to see the character "death" aka "dreams" sisterI don't even know what Sandman is.
