ok, now i know what your saying, window-sill?
ok i live in an upper level apt, and no one can see whats in the planter. the seeds where germinated on may 23rd 2010. then i took what i had available to me, wich was 1) self watering windowsill planter 1)bag Miracle Grow Blooming soil and the sprouted seedlings. The window i chose gets 91/2 hours sunlight. I realize that once the plants grow to be tall enough to see, i will have to move them down onto a box positioned infront of the window. as far as air flow and odor control, the window will be open 4-5 inches to allow for a slight breeze. the seedlings are really thriving and growing strong. theres 5 of them. 3 of wich are 2-1/2 inches tall and one thats barely sprouting, maybe 1 cm , and one, the #1 stunna that grew 4 inches in 3 days time. this ones extra green, extra thick stalk. i have high hopes for this one, but its a 50 / 50 with unknown seeds right. anyway once the plants go into the vegatative stage, im going to set up the ghetto grow box i saw in Dryzel's Grow Journal, just with a bigger box, and interior covered with white poster board. also 2 intake 5 w pc fans and 1 ventilation. I have not chosen the lighting system, and im open to opinions.... plus, can anyone identify those mushrooms? idfk where they came from haha
