looking good man nice and green... what part of sac are u in? cuz i know of a couple good hydro stores in town the best one i think would be sac hydroponics on folsom blvd. cheapest prices that ive found, good selection, and the guys working there are actually knowledgeable on growin bud. but ya next year i would def think about throwing at least a couple in the ground, i think urs are fine this year in 5 gallons buckets since u got them out there late but if u throw them out in time next year they would get rootbound in 5 gal buckets. i would suggest at least 55 gallon containers if u are unable to go in the ground.

I hit up a hydro store on Greenback for all my supplies. Just pondering a site in the yard for my grow next season. I will definitely be using bigger containers if they don't go into the ground.

Thanks for the info. :)

Looking great! What kind of smell are they putting out? That last one is quite the leafy little bush. Keep 'em nice and happy and you'll definitely have something nice to puff on, even better that you grew it yourself! :bigjoint:

Thanks Freddie!! To me the smell is like a sweet funk. Which is exactly what one of the GDP reviews had mentioned about the smell. :)

Bah I had an incident with Tiger Bloom and my tallest plant. I added full strength to a gallon/plant and 4 of the 5 took it well. The other one got some fairly bad leaf burns to the point where I had to prune her down to almost no fan leaves. :( I said screw it and tossed her into the ground to see what she will do. If she dies oh well but I thought that I would experiment since she was going down anyways. I will post new pics when I get home tonight. :)

Oh well, live and learn I guess? The rest are still looking good and on schedule. You've found out the hard way that full-strength is often burning strength in soil plants in containers. Stinking the yard right up yet?

Yeah I feel bad for her.. I just thought that I would give it a shot and she didn't like it at all! Next season they are going into the ground for sure.. In the 5 gallon buckets I can see the roots about 3 inches deep in the soil and I can tell that that last stretch could have been more significant had they been in the ground.

Thanks for the comments and keep them coming. I will be updating this at least once a week till harvest. This is fun!!!!! :blsmoke:

I am for sure.. I made so many stupid mistakes this season with it being my first. I lost a Strawberry Diesel clone early in the season and then should have been looking to put these in the ground instead of in buckets. Oh well live and learn. Next season will be alllllll good. :D

Looking good I'm looking at spacing for next year. I will start making my soil in Janauary. I think i could have gotten bigger plants with better spacing. dirrtyd

Nice plants but you did a few things wrong, since you started them late should have started them on the ground, being in a small pot during 12/12 weather which is mid augest. Roots wont grow much any more so not much u can do now but finish them up. What size are your plants right now? My od grow looks dissapointing, i vegg a seed for 2 months and put it outside in the ground same time u had ur clones. Since it was vegg in 1 gallon pot being root bound really stunt growth and plant hardly stretch at all! Was 8 or 9 inches when i had it in the ground and today is barely above 12 inch... At the same time i put 2 plants outside during mid july same strain indica same age but but hieght is off the chain, like one is 3.5 feet, another is almost 3 feet. So in theory, roots wont do much in a bigger pot if u dont vegg it for a few days.

I have had them in those buckets since they went outside. I didn't want to put them into the ground this season because it's old nasty dirt and I didn't have any time to prep it. I was thinking that with the late start I would only get a little yield off these but they took off better than I expected.

The tallest plant that I have is 26" and the shortest is 15" but that was a few days ago.. They could be a little taller now. :)

U can still get a half zip or more from each one
in those pots depending on strain and various other factors
