Unhealthy Plants (First time grow, please help!) (pics)

Hello fellow growers,

This is my first time growing, and i bought these lovely ladies as clones. The smaller, shriveled, not so "good looking" plant is an Indica, L.A. Confidential, and the more full looking, is a Sativa, Super Lemon Haze.

As you are all probably thinking, the Indica in particular looks incredibly poorly?
I had performed a transplant in which i dropped it .. (i know ) about a month ago, but the worst that happened was a few dead leaves, which i plucked (which is now making her look so bare).

It's been about 2 or 3 months now, they're still so small. i feel like i'm doing everything right?

(i'm in california) and they get as much sun as shines during the day, and i water them every other day unless the soil is still very moist. i use EarthGro potting soil. theyre both in about 5 gallon pots.

Any suggestions? Comments? need any more info? (2 pics of indica, 1 of saliva)

oh lastly, there's often ants on my plants... is this any kind of problem at all? haha

thanks -Nick

really?? they're still so small though,
The place i bought them from said they'd be ready later september/early october..

should i move onto the "how to harvest" section of this website?

And it looks like they'd only yield a few grams tops?

Did you put them out straight away when you got them? If so they probably were 18+ hours under light and putting them straight out without acclimating them they will go into flower. Sorry about your luck but next season you will know! :D Good luck.

yes i did. So these are now useless? or should i keep them growing?
((I am incredibly newbie to all this))

I guess i will be getting another two clones today or tomorrow from the same place, as i was planning on doing this soon regardless, how would you suggest i go about growing the next two?

i guess what i'm asking is one HUGE "What do i do??" :wall:

get some good soil, n just water, get some smart pots there hard to overwater n just water every other day, you might want to use organic nutrients if there less forgiving, cause one u fry em with synthetic nutes well the damage is hard to correct happy growin!

Might as well keep them till finish but you are only going to get a VERY small yield. Buying clones now would be a moot point as we are dropping out of the veg cycle now and heading to flower outside. The only option you have is to buy your clones and veg them indoors for a few weeks and toss them out to flower.

The small yield isn't really a problem, i'm just experimenting, enjoying watching them grow, and hoping to eventually take weed out of my budget. Next season they should "reset" and have better luck?

So in order to do anything good with new clones i'd need to get lights, correct?

If i only want to grow outdoor / don't want to buy lights just to move them outdoors eventually. when would be a good time to purchase and transplant them to the outdoors?

((sorry for so many newbie questions, been going through the forums, i can't find answers to anything i ask))

na movin that one might get u a hermie at this point of time its not comin back, but if u do find some teens or veg inside for a little while some clones u might get a decent yield nothing spectacular but more then what ur gonna get at the moment

No worries.. You have my attention now and I will help with what I can. :)

It's going to be hard for you to do anything with new clones without lighting as they are just going to go into flower like the ones that you have. In order to have nice flowers you have to have a good root system and there just isn't enough time now to establish new ones.

They won't reset next season. You will either have to buy clones or seeds for your next grow.

If you want a little help here is a place to get started.

There are tons of resources on the net and feel free to PM me should you have any additional questions.

I am barely scraping the surface here but this post should put you on the right track. There are many people that will tell you many different things about growing so take everything that people say with a grain of salt and research those answers before implementing any of it into your grow. By doing this you will make better informed decisions on your grow and not have to fix a problem caused by bad advice. :)

Lol damn i get most of my legal stuff games etc off xraiglist but never mmj on the trader i always ask for a pic of i.d and 215 before hand even though i don't have one (its my constitutioanal right to grow ) that's seems to work lol
