Hi All...I just wanted to get a thread going to discuss our future economy & the black hole it faces. Every older individual who lived through the first depression says that within the next few years we as a country will repeat those mistakes.:-?

It won't be a depression.

We'll just be japan. Slow/weak economic growth for the next 15-20 years. Oh, and inflation. Once we get on our feet. All those dollars we created will come home to roost. $3 for a Euro. $3000 for an oz. of gold. $250/oil.

All that sounds bad, but wages will rise a little too.

When you were a kid and your grandparents tell you a dollar used to buy this, and that. And you wonder - how did that happen? We've got a front row seat, right here, right now.
