Underneath canopy lighting theory thing stuff

I use spotlights set on an angle for my plants. I trim the lower branches as well though. Just attempting to maximize growth where I want it

Oh yip, What sort of spotlights? do they angle in from the top or side? I just like seeing the healthy look of green everywhere on my plants, i guess it could be seen as wasted energy. But then again, people probably view me as wasted energy...:-P

I guess a floodlight wouldnt hurt shining up with the 'mainlining' technique either. The bottom of the buds would be sorted..

Of course. Im main-lining everything in veg now. They are at 4 tops right now. I learned do not top when they reach the height you want. Instead let them grow longer. Then cut plant / stalk in half right above the node you want to use. That way they will have more roots and have a thicker stalk. They will be able to recover or heal faster. It wont slow them down as much as topping when smaller. Plus you can get 1 or more good clones from each when doing that too.

I cant wait til next jan. Main-line some outdoor. Ill have a yard to do it in too by then. Moving in a few months.
