Definatly not bro, even just 3 feet underground would be fine. Dirt, soil, clay are great insulators

:hump: thanks for the responses i was thinking clay sand and concrete but the vent indeed will be the main source for the heat escaping and im sure they make something to mask it but the cops mostly only fly over head in early july and probably mid winter or the end of fall start of winter so i should be pretty okay :blsmoke:

I guess you havent seen that youtube bust that was built underground a large falke bolder was 1 way in down lots of ladders and the steel doors were massive with big stearing locks with 100s of plants , it looked uncachable... all the hard work and how many $1000 building it an those pescy cops flying by with there Infared,s seen the fields glowing lol

You can have it any were the key is to keep it cool ...h4l

yeah ive seem pics of it ive also heard of people geting busted with underground rooms that was stealing power to grow but im not aimin for anything over 10 plants or so with it being under ground it should stay fairly cool

They were stealing electricity in Tennesee. That is why they got busted not the choppers. Cops can't look at your house with a heat sensor unless there is a warrant and if they have a warrant you are already fucked.

I wouldn't say don't worry, just don't freak out. Make the outside vent look normal. Disguise it to look like something else, a pile of rocks, anything. Just not an unusual placement of a pile of rocks, if that makes sense. That and make sure you are treating for smell, and that the temp of the air that you are venting isn't 150 degrees F, and you'll be fine.

do us all a favor, take pictures before, as you are building, and then after. I think it would be great to watch it being built.

kayme you read my mind i tend to take pics before ground is broke during and after and then pics of the first grow in it
