Hey yall Just as the title says. I think I may be under feeding. I am using botanicare organic flowering nutes 1-4-5 I am well into flowering about week 4-5. My plants look great but Ive been having some issue with OLDER leaves yellowing and some droopy fan leaves that look pale light green all on the bottom side of the plant. I originally thought I was giving them too much food but after giving them some water with no nutes didnt seem to change anything. Now I am wondering if my organic nutes have been enough? I should also mention have I have a shit ton of fan leaves I didnt prune at all usually the leaves that are yellowing dieing are on the bottom.

Is this a downside to organic nutes? Should I be adding anything else or perhaps feed more often? thanks for any info.

Planted in soil
600w air cooled
PH always checked and maintained no lock out as far as i can tell.

I use organic nutrients and they work well. Iguana juice grow in bloom is what I use. Don't worry about a few bad leaf tips or the fact that a fan leaf may brown, yellow, or fall off you plant here or there. I find that most healthy plants are still not perfect. Keep feeding your organic nutrients and watching the plant during the drying out period for changes. I try to get my bloom notes slowly from 1/4 to full strength. Then I use my gradually build up dosage on a few other supplements I use.

Sounds like she's right on track. Keep up the good work and pull those leaves when they are "yellow" to help increase airflow later in flowering. You're all good bro stay green.

No worries , if you are that late into flower, you should have some yellow leaves (just the plant ripening). Now if you were still in veg, then you would have a problem.

No, there is nothing wrong with your organic nutes. It's just the ratio for bloom foods in general. Lowering the nitrogen (1 nitrogen) -4-5) and the 12/12 photo period causes the yellowing. Nothing to worry about. When the leaves fall off, remove them from the grow to avoid attracting critters.

Don't want to get into another feed debate, but personally I keep the nitrogen at a constantly high level throughout the entire grow. The extra nitrogen keeps the leaves green and healthy. A healthy plant produces a lot of bud.

Many growers run a balanced ratio 10-10-10 just like you would with any other plant. The marijuana industry preys upon the inexperienced gardeners and offers up pretty bottles of voodoo magic at a hefty price. I've been gardening for over 30 years and from my personal experience, marijuana requires the same basic care and attention that any other plant does.

Green to Harvest - Second Grow of 2013

My cannabis grows consist of bagged organic soil placed in a plastic container for 30 days with water. The soil comes amended from the vendor with all the organic nutrients the plants need through harvest. I essentially just add water and light. Cool way to grow bud and very easy.
