Underestimated the stretch, need some better light penetration...what do i do??

have a 4x4'x6'
600 W hortilux HPS in the reflector
vegged them for 6 weeks bubba was 2 weeks older. 5 total
money maker -(2) of em
chocolate mint og- (1)
Pepperjack haze(1)
Bubba kush-(1)

This is my second run, first time using a scrog technique
before the flip, the plants were at the net, about 80% filled and now i have 2' colas beginning to form.
Unfortunately,
there is some growth that is shaded due to the other growing so vigorously after the switch.

My question is, can I clean it up and take it out? not a full lollopop but clipping some small branches, not all at once, but that i know wont turn into anything worth keeping

or will it effect them

photos attached

thanks for the help in advance

How far are you inro flower?
I was 2 weeks into flower with an uneven canopy, 4 strains 5 plants.
i was advised to do some super cropping.

Next time train the first week as well and even everything out. For this time you can still pull the tall ones down to a couple holes over and they will be fine.

IMG_4658.jpgIMG_4659.jpg IMG_4658.jpg My suggestion in cut the screen and even out the canopy by lifting the short ones.
The tall plant in the back is almost 5 feet tall. Everything else is maybe 3 feet. I Like to grow a mix of strains and an even canopy is important. IMG_4659.jpg

i am 20 days into flower and i trained for the first 7-10 days the last 10 days have been crazy with growth
the leaves under the tall colas have been discoloring and fall off when i basically pull them softly

I cleaned them out, next i think im going to give em a little haircut day by day not so much at one time.

I think if i cut the screen they will just stand up more and i will run out of room vertically, i could alter the screen a little and maybe cut the pipe and 45 the edges.

there's a possibility that supercropping will just shade areas any ways so i wouldnt want to stress the plant just to have the same situation with light penetration

You can always do the old fashioned "tie them down" and they will will start to grow up.
You can figure out a way to even out the canopy, they are only 20 days in so you should be fine with LST.

so i decided to do a combo of trimming anything below the screen , tying larger stems down, as well as trim some fan leaves that were just in the way of light getting thru to some lower bud sites. it seems to have really no stress on the plant as they are doing great. smell is starting to become more prominent as well as the buds on the HSO Bubba have really taken off. Here are some progress shots of the ladies after 25 days of flower.

and a shot of the bubba kush with out the HPS on , in daylight
different angles as well

Let me know what you guys think!
