from what i understand its the best option period for hydro setups, and the key is to not use airstones, but to make a waterfall effect on the return line thus aerating it properly, also insulated containers and possibly a larger reservoir or even a chiller, This system the biggest obstacle is the heat from the pump, and if you overcome that , the benifits of the aeration and circulation are awesome.
also i think another thing with these systems is you want everything to be able to be taken apart and cleaned, you also want to use screens to make it so the roots don't end up clogging your lines.

i know that there are plenty of good DIY guides out there, and if you look around at different op's you can get your own customized setup, I know it may be easy to buy one of those but you may be able to build a way better one for that price.

Here is my DIY thread on under current, I grow the shit out of these systems. Love them & would never go back, Can easily do 4 ounces or more each plant.

I just finished my first diy undercurrent 18 plant setup and I got close to 11oz per plant
