Under Watered Example - It’s a Resilient Plant

So, not really newbie, but always learning. I see a quite a few panicked posts from new growers along the lines of “OMG I think I killed my plant, please help immediately!!!” Most times, whatever a new grower did to the plant is not fatal and the plant will pull through.

Cannabis is a pretty tough plant and can bounce back from quite a bit of abuse.

As an example, I let one of my outdoor girls dry out a bit too much between waterings. Here’s how it looked when I got home from work last night:

Other than feeling a little bad about abusing her, no panicking. Gave her a good watering and here’s how she looked this morning.

Point being, she perked right back up. Realistically, she could probably have gone another day or 2 without water and still pulled through, but I don’t try to stress any of my garden plants intentionally.

Happy growing.

@bam0813 She’s a little hungry for sure. Can always add more food but can’t take it back. I’m still screwing around with outdoor and going mostly organic this season. Most of my experience with weed is hydro with bottled nutes indoor but my outdoor grow is way more laid back. I grow a lot of veggies and herbs outdoor too, the knowledge more or less transfers.

My containers are a bit small and they eat a lot. Probably should have put them in my raised beds but need to be able to move them into shed come October when the weather gets shitty in SE Michigan. Enjoying the hell out the season this year though. Thanks for the observation!

Cheers!

She's hungry for nitrogen, can't see close enough but that usually means she needs some magnesium too.

I agree not to worry in all if this happens. But we don’t wanna teach new growers that this is an okay thing to happen.

I haven’t done that ina long time lol Depending on time of day and location. This shit will be fatal 100% in 2-4 hours in some places. Middle of summer. High desert. It’s a wrap
