Well my first legal In door grow was a complete and udder failure!!!!
I had 4 Skywalker og that just broke through soil YESTERDAY!
I woke up this morning and started my normal routine. Quick shower to wake up, cup of coffee, then off to the grow room to check on my newly sprouted babies before off to work. I walked to my grow room fully expecting to see all 4 of my girls happy healthy and enjoying their new life. However what I was met with can only be described as nothing less then heart wrenching.

THEY WERE GONE!!!!! just.....just gone. Pots full of soil still sitting where I left them but no plants whatsoever anywhere to be found. I just stood there in silence in disbelief for what seemed like an eternity staring at nothing, at what should have been my 4 happy girls. It looked as if I had set four empty pots down for growing under lights with nothing in them.
Thief's perhaps? But Of seedlings? And why would they uproot seedlings and not even take the pots. Plus I've been home the whole time. So I feel comfortable ruling that out.
So where did they go?!?!?!?
After standing there for like I said what seemed like an eternity I started to look around for clues. Something happened to them I just saw them a few hours ago happy and healthy what the h*** happened. Nothing but Some light sprinkling of soil out of the cups on the ground around them. Guys.... I think I have a mouse problem. I've never had a mouse problem.
I instantly take on the mindset of a mighty Spartan Warrior against the vast Persian army of nothing but mice heavily armored with nothing but their empty bellies and their teeth searching for my loot of seedlings.
I'm on the warpath guys. DEATH TO MICKEY MOUSE!!!!! I will kill them and their entire family and I will show no mercy or remorse. I vowed to kill every mouse within a 50 mile radius of my house or I will die trying!!! I feel like a child who just got his Christmas toys taken away. Somebody or someone will pay for this.

I drove over to a Friend's house Right down the road from me who has some mouse traps and I've set those out. But when I go into town today I will purchase everything the exterminator has to kill these little basterds.

If you have tall grass and weeds in your yard that will make for mice. They would get worse in the winter when they seek warmth.

Keep some feral cats outside and the mice problem will disappear. Just feed the cats enough to keep them around, but hungry enough to eat mice.

I live in a housing subdivision with an HOA so my grass is pretty well kept and manicure. AND We do have multiple cats that run around outside at night. That's why I'm so confused I have a mouse problem I've lived here for years and have never had a mouse problem.

Gotta spend money to make money. I had heard that all my life and it is very true with growing. Equipment, power bills, nutes... I remember I was setting up a house back in MO and I had about 50k in the build and I was so worried about getting that first harvest because money was getting tight. Fortunately everything worked out.

I've said almost the same thing my whole adult life. It takes money to make money. But I'm happy to hear your 1st grow worked out it sounds like you had a whole lot more invested And a lot more to lose than I did

If only money wasn't a complete waste of time and energy. Imagine if all time wasted playing with glorified pieces of paper, was actually spent doing something useful/meaningful/peaceful. Just for starters.

Good luck with the mice!

I do like those pieces of paper though. They open a lot of doors lol. So many thing you can do with them that you can't do without.

Very true,
But It is only the mouse that you need to wish luck upon. This is a battle that I will not lose.
Remember when the Japs attacked pearl Harbor.
I feel like Franklin D. Roosevelt and the mice are the axis of evil.

Regarding the mice you can buy these things that u stick in the walls and they emit frequencies mice hate.

Good deterrent.

Dogs n other pets apparently take no notice. We’ll at least ours hasn’t!

I have six of those and still had to get traps, they did help a little but when it's cold they still come in. The ones I got were from sharper image.
