Age: 5 1/2 weeks into flower
Soil: FFOF transplanted right before flower
Feedings: WWFWWF...Earth Juice--have been giving flowering nutes as well as a little bit of veg nutes up till now.
Light: CFL-just upped to 500w plus have been giving 6 hrs of direct sunlight for about a week. They seemed to be loving it!
pH--? have limed soil and have been bubbling the earth juice. It still does NOT get high enough in IMO even after 72 hrs but have been relying on the advice that the soil will take care of it. I have been bringing the pH down to 6-6.5 ish on my plain water (tap) feeding days using a little bit of the catalyst.
Well I gave this to my three girls 2 days ago and one of them became very unhappy. She has lost a bunch of lower leaves and even one of the buds is severely burned on one side. Fortunately she has a buttload of leaves and I have resisted defoliating for light purposes.
Earth Juice
1 TBSP Bloom
1 tsp Catalyst
1 tsp Meta-K
1 tsp Microblast
There was already a little yellowing on some of the bottom fan leaves that I chalked up to normal. I think this was a sign that for some reason she is more sensitive to the nutes and I missed the signs... I only just now stopped giving small doses of the grow (nitrogen).
I am going to water today and I don't know whether to use catalyst to bring the pH down or not. I might go ahead and use the GH pH down and risk killing the herd. It only takes a tiny bit to bring it down enough. I have read that when using organic ferts it is much harder to fix the boo-boos.
I think she'll be ok enough to finish??? I was hoping for another 4 weeks. Opinions on this?
