Yeah I have to agree that super cropping does work, I tested it out on a few of my plants last run and was very pleased with the results as long as your careful when you do it. As for defoliation, I would be very selective on how much trimming you do, especially during veg. I try to let them veg out completely and then trim when putting them into 12/12 and then let them ride out from there doing very selective trimming from there on. It also depends on the strain you have. My Romulan requires very little trimming and grows almost perfecting the way I want naturally. However, my Diesel is leafy as hell and requires a lot of trimming and training. I have run side by side comparisons though with trimmings plants through veg, and leaving others alone completely. And will say the ones you trim less will grow a lot more vigorously.
