UK legal questions

How wary should you be about ordering provisions online. (Lights, seeds, instructional books etc) although in the UK all these things are not illegal, do authorities monitor such things and get search warrants off the back of them?

Another thing I have heard is police can use helicopters with ir cameras to pick up heat signatures and get search warrants that way. Should this be a concern for a small operation (e.g. single 400w hps bulb?)

Also, could posting to a site such as this be used against a person? Should a small operation growing for personal use have a lot to be fearful of or am I being paranoid?

I only ever hear about huge busts clearly not for personal use, statistics on enforcement against little guys is hard to come by, anyone know where to look for hard data about this topic?

A 400w wont give off nearly enough heat to be worried, if i was you i would grow in a tent, Also remember the #1 rule: DON'T TELL ANYONE. good luck with all your grows man

i have 1000w plus in my loft , for 5 years or more ,

Also, as an aside, do people posting pictures of their grows on here not break the #1 rule? This very forum would appear to be a trasure trove of evidence for the marijuana enforcers...

i have used RIU for about 3 years , never had an issue , i will stress my wireless dongle ip address is 300miles away so.......

as far as monitoring sales go , there are 3 grow shops just in my town , plus all the ppl that use hydroponics for organic veg etc , imagine that workload , i think not , if your worried get it mailed to a diff address, where i buy my stuff from you cant tell whats in it until u open it , you dont have to mail order right ?
