UK grower Jimmy Nuggs - Hello.

Am a relative newbie at this growing business, having started out with an indoor grow last august.

Have come a long way but always learning and changing chit about.

Am trying to establish a gentle perpetual: albeit with my girls taking an individual view on when they are ready, I don't tend to go by ’must be ready in x weeks’. And I have a bunch of dried flower in my stores so seams to be working.

Pretty much all coco/pearlite (avg 70/30) but have just finished cooking my own organic fertilizer to incorporate into my substrate's.

I grow under half the light i need in LEDs in a couple of tents (.5m x 90cm & 1.2 x 1.2) with a smidge of co2 in bloom tent and usual carbon air conditioning etc.

Currently growing a mixed bag of strains.

Some for shitsngigs, some for reasons: Hulkberry is almost 30%!
While others for taste and or medical exploration.

Still have a bunch of seeds for following grows: Green Gelato, Blue Cheese, Royal creme, with Wedding cake, GSC, Banana Tangie and a Trainwreck etc.
Oh n before i go on, colloidal silver arrived today...
Thinking of trying a mash up of what i got....?!? What you think?

So, current line up is (no order)
Godberry - 25L(wk 8/9) circular airpot, about 12' tall so preparing for flower at the weekend
&
Krippleshock mainifold 40L(wk? 12/ish) colas at 14' so flipping this weekend too
Zkittlez - 4L, (wk3) - topped for manifold but kept both node 3's to take as clones (3' at mo, think i need another inch..?!) then transplant to mid up pot 12L bloody tall for its age!)
Auto diesel - 12 L (wk4) Topped once and lowered uppers to even cola heads
Royal Jack H Auto - 11L (wk4) Topped twice and cut back some lower buds to extend veg - still growing
NL Auto - 11L (wk7) Pulled early chit RQS genetics. Made ice hash which is drying as I type but very little to speak of ( A big Feck You RQS, you feckin' sold me 8 duffers in a row! Feck'n Baast'ds..You are cuπts RQS...!)
Phew, ok onwards.
BigBudXXL (¹ of ³) - 25L (wk8 b) cut tops as cloudy trics uptop but clear down below (fecking shitty LEDs) but prolly gonna pull this smelly girl at weekend: gonna just prune to 6-8' tops from now on....!
Hulkberry ¹ of ³ - 25L (wk8 b) as above, 'taps 'aff'. This one will prolly be done by weekend too (leaving space for top two)
BigBudXXL ² of ³ - 11L (wk3/4 b) final defoliation leaving 9 even stripped colas, all have top 8 inch of flower sites, all below, stripped (cause sh1t leds)
BigBudXXL ³ of ³ - 12L (wk3/4 b) final defol, more colas but circular pot means spacing is req', used garden wire to tether colas wide open for light penitration - larger white pistols thickening
Kripple ² of 5 - (wk2/3 b)- low key defol, again more colas in circular pot: garden wire to tether colas wide open for light penitration darker leaves on this one and smell already pungent from its white pistol heads

Seed - humidity dome
1 Royal Creamatic seed (wk1 s) in 4" grodan for root experiment: airpruning side roots at block edge and taproot to force primary & 2ndary roots into cube. Transplant then feed only cube to send roots straight down.

Clones - humidity dome
3 Godberry (wk1 c) from defol of top plant
3 Kripples'k (wk3 c) just moved to pots.looking like runts but hoping one of them will hold on
4 Big budxxl clones didnt take. Gonna wave goodbye to this strain after curent load done: very nice,strong fuel flower but low thc and a tiny bit tempremental

Monstercrop clones
2 hukberry 4L (wk3/4 c)
H#1 appears to have flowered
H#2 has already showed growth and been topped already

Thats it for a week, cheers and ill do pics if requested but i have one light that doesn't blurple the feck outta the pic (i got reeeeealy shity lights)

The Hauge nice, I'm just up the coast(ish) I'm in Alkmaar. I moved from Wales, not alot happens in Wales and remember being in a place called Llanelli (smallest town ever) smoking a joint on the estuary with my mate. Literally well out of the way, even from the secret spots for fisherman. 2 police officers one in a riot van and the other in a T5 Volvo (remember those, animals) walked about 7/8 minutes round the estuary to put me and a friend in the back of a car to confiscate a half smoked joint between the pair of us.

I also remember the slag in the riot van wanted me and my mate locked up for the night to teach us a lesson as I can be very obtuse. That is how little Dyfed Powys police get action but yet are a large force in Wales.

My friend received a road side caution and I received a summons to court as I had a caution 8 or 9 months previously. Pathetic.

They hoofed my door in for 15 plants between me and the same friend. We got intent to supply as the "street value" was nearly £16,000 (like how you can make 16g from 15 plants is beyond me) it works out just over grand a piece. If I could do that I wouldn't of been working that's for sure. I would litterally have to sell 0.8g £10s to be anywhere near a grand a plant. Who buys 0.8 10's or to put that in perspective 20,000 sales at 0.8 to make 16,000. That would literally take me 10 years to make that many deals. I love this element of street value made up by some fat cunt with glasses behind a desk who has never actually seen a "drug" and estimates it worth.........

So I did 6 months out of 10, my buddy had 250 hours community service. Complete wankers, to be fair my attitude didn't help in court haha, told the judge really don't see your point and what a waste of everyone's time effort and money this exercise was.i might of got 250 hours if I kept my mouth shut but I'm a man of principle don't care who or what you are, if I think your full of shit I will tell you.

Also fuck picking litter up on some run down council estate for scumbags who don't give a fuck for their own communal area and have never had a job, and literally think that benefits are a right and not a privilliage. I'll take the BnB option Everytime haha!!

Little update folks (no pics)

Moved tents about, the BBXXL & H'berry still not ready despite me taking the tops a week ago. (My LEDs suck major baws!)

Knock on effect is the large 40l mainlined Krippleshock and 25l Godberry had to be flipped and now the flower footprint is bigger than it should be especially now I'm 2 lights down.
Just spreading 400+/- watts keeping it going for now.

Don't like closing canopy but till those two are ready, I'm not rushing 'em.
So, the 1.²√ tent is under lit and overfull with:

2 large Kripples (& now a 40 so 3) - the unknown flower is out @ week four and it smells GLORIOUS (will put a desc up of strains soon)

2 large BBXXLs - one due is being stubborn (and not as big flowers as I'd like: tops where... Meh! (As I let my last of these genetics die out, its swan song (bloom 4 wk) has double the flower size of this stubborn *****.

And the newly flipped Godberry, which I've also started spraying with colloidal silver as a means of keeping her for a 'small pot sog' in the future.

Both G'y & K'k were defoliated about 70% off.

Veg tent,
Monster cropped #2 Hulkberry is sprouting from all angles. Jus needs some time...
It's partner (#1) has sat in flower more or less same time as #2 been sprouting... Stupid plant.

3rd topping of Zkittlez and its currently looking like a 12 inch (capital) T n happy.

Defol on the two autos:
auto Diesel is skinny but form is good with 4 even colas with multi budsites
While Auto Jack is sturdier and a little tighter but after 3 toppings this has given me 12 nice and even flower sites.

But because they both healthy and happy am contemplating topping both one more time....
Guess a day or two to think on it before the window passes...

One of the Gberry clones has shown 'a root' so am thinking if I grow this one out and flip after lots o topping n fimming this will be my seed mother: need her stress levels to be low if that's the case, minimize any likely hood of introducing the Hermie gene. (May have no impact at all but will try and give this clone a privileged upbringing regardless).
3 Krippleshock clones remain the same, just finding roots.

Topping autos about 2/3 years ago the internet would of broken with angry people.

Some people insist it doesn't harm them and they do really well as a result and there seems to be more of this thinking about.

I have tried it and think that it comes down to your either lucky and it works or if you're like me it has an impact on yield and growth slows.

When I thought about this due to autos really short life cycle they don't have chance to recover. I tent towards some serious LST and Lollipopping. This is what I know best when dealing with autos in terms of method and stray from topping.

However new skool thinkers are piping up about it here and there. I guess they maybe using certain genetics or strain I don't know.

If your interested try it with one of the free seeds you get with your next order, you'll see if it works first hand and costs you a few pennies to find out.

I use a mix of Silver Nitrate and Sodium Thiosulfide @cannabineer can fill you in since he makes my mix.

Because you are "on the clock" with autos I wonder out loud if a coco grow would better allow for topping?

Auto Creamatic at 14 days (bit small)




Auto Diesel (or AutoJack, bit of a mix up) at about 5/6 weeks - topped twice with 4x foot long colas each with a secondary 6 inch. Nice.




Auto Jack (or diesel see above): very largish n flat canopy after 3 toppings, with maybe 2 dozen flower sites.




Zkittlez, up potted at WK 6ish, mainlined and waiting for a little height (16 colas + odd 1 on centre left, I'll use for clones)




Hulkberry clone at about 5ish week old, half a dozen foot long 'just topped' cola, will be flipping this one in 2 weeks

I've been pretty lucky (see the two autos above) the half dozen or so autos I have grown I've topped them all and though I had shitty genetics the topping has always led to better structure at the very least. Although will take your lead on the creamatic I will leave this one un-topped to set the standard (FYI rqs freebies 2 dead at seed so far from 5 - stay away from RQS!!) Shall see how it grows. If I time it right I could do both cut n un-cut...

@ the end of my first course on the Godberry and just starting to see tiny nanners so gonna cut branch and keep it in coco shortly, like a clone, away from the main tent to avoid any 'accidents'.

Right folks, what have I done this week ....

Skittles now in flower tent and mainlined colas (16) all at about 18 inch stems, so am happy with this one so far and a few inches to go.
Mainlined Krippleshock is coming along nicely, managed to get a 60w 3.5k led dropped into the cavity so getting light from inside and out.
She is frosty as fuck and only week 4
Hmmm.
At the beginning of the week I had a BBxxl to harvest. Came down nicely: wet trim and into my layered net, thats 10 identicolas maybe a couple zips from my very last BBxxl . This ministry of cannabis seed (bought from DCS who are great!) Its been a great daytime smoke hints of lemony fuel but can be a little hard on the pull. So after a year its time to put this one out to pasture.

Tuesday: all (but 1, smaller Krippleshock too close) plants in bloom got some bat guano worked into topsoil, always backed up with potassium sulphate, magnesium same and a glug of molasses, gets that biolife working hard for me...

All vegging plants get a minor flush. A 'pots' worth of PhD water with seaweed only. Followed a few hours later with a half feed.

As a side note: I got a Seedstockers freebie in the post (I may have already said) but I registered on April 20th promo and I forgot: well a BCN Critical XXL Auto all the way from Spain.

Wednesday last week the first of 3 Krippleshock girls came of age, chopped and trimmed, smaller buds than BBXXL but again couple maybe 3 zips of sticky frosty caramel nugs. Been hankering for this one since I polished of my stash of it a couple months ago: so happy.

Hulk clone (nbr1) has by necessity been up potted from 4l tub to 25l airpot and as of time of writing the up pot (and mychos) recharged her with vigour so I'll add to flower only when I remove one but its gonna be hard, this thing is getting outta control (its the monster crop factor) as I'm trying to reduce plant numbers in bloom (gonna focus on less but bigger plants)

Friday: Trainwreck and GSC (photoperiods) and Creamatic (auto) all topped. None of these have the vigour I expected so will use cuts as clone regardless but only to keep genetics hanging around until I can verify the end results (photos)

Collected Godberry pollen from my clone, enough to play Doc Frankenweed at least so, have tickled a little into the mother Gb'y which is about 4 weeks to go so a little over her should give me some mature fem seeds.
Godberry strain saved for future grows (if enough viable seeds it'll supply a future sog run).

Also added a touch of pollen to my very well performing Autos : smaller 6 inch colas on both the Auto Jack and Auto Diesel had a smidge. Not sure what's gonna happen but free seeds are free seeds...
Both autos @ week 6/7 and flower on both getting chunky (especially the twice topped Jack H) and smelly so have reset all previous ties making some space for light but looking to be about 3-5 zips if I'm a judge. Very happy and I always count my autos as Bonus smoke (although i was pissed at calling it on my last NLauto - fuck RQS genetics!)

As promised some pics: i took these today for a compare with another grower (hes running same seed, a week apart): so here's my Jack Herer Auto at 6/7 weeks old.
Still a bit of weight to add but its taking a looooong time (I want this one bad...)


This Jack H was topped once (at node 4) node 3&4 grew out to even tops, the rest I stripped away. She has grown well with 4 nice sturdy and absolutely bud packed foot longs as well as 12x laterals about 4/6 inch each and again, nice and dense, flowers already hard under pressure.
Waiting a few more weeks to see how she turns out is still hard, even after a year of growing...
Haven't smoked any Jack H in a couple of years so kinda looking forward hard for this one...

Nice grow and thanks for sharing! I like those air pots they look real nice. The plants look very healthy and should produce some excellent results.

There seems to be some droop at the top...are you aware of it / dealing with whatever is causing it?

The airpots are great for getting your root structure sorted real quick - I use 3gal ones for most of my autos n 6gal for my photos.

Yeah I've noticed the slight droop, think it's fluctuations of heat, my space heating up a little too quickly ATM - think I'm gonna need to add more ventilation soon, problem is my young un's love it warm n moist, to make it worse my auto diesel loves it. Sadly its just a down side to flowering autos in my veg tent.
