Never used an LED So I cant say much but there is an experiment in a organic chemistry room of my university. 4 plants are growing. same genetics and same medium. The 2 under a 90 watt UFO LED are about 2/3 the size of those under a 250 watt HID just to have a general idea.

Not all ufos are the same, but as Snaps alluded to, mostly crap, as are most chinese leds
There is very little truth in their advertising, which is mostly misleading, if not outright lies
You need to spend ~ $250 for a quality led to grow on plant, but price is no guarantee

I have an Apollo 135w UFO with 3w chips.

It works great in my small vegging box. I have never used it to flower, though.
I got a BD-360U for that.
