I honestly thought the ref was going to step in. Lesnar laid there for a while doin jack. That "oh no" feeling washed over me. I have seen MANY championship fights called for MUCH less turtle-ling up than that. Carwin gave it all and was gassed after that and had no chance. I knew if Lesnar could take it to the 3:00 mark he had about a 99.99999% of winning because Carwin has never had to go deep. They both looked great. Carwin is a great guy, he laid it all out there. I am hoping for a re-match.

That was the best card I have seen in a long time; maybe ever. Mos def worth the money for PPV. Even my wife who is usually blah about UFC was watching every fight intently. I think the two co-main events should both have gotten submission of the night and I think Dana should pay out fight-of-the-night to everyone because they all honestly deserved it. If they had more cards like that - they would make a lot more PPV money.

It was defiantly on the razors edge, Brock got threw by the skin of his teeth. Shane is a beast,He needs to win his next few fights and i think there will be a rematch, Witch if he trains in stamina i think he has a good chance of pulling off the win be getting the belt, That is if JDS or Velasquez doesn't get it first.


Yeah dana gave alot of cash away in 116. He ended up giving fight of the night to Bonner vs Soszynski AND Leben vs Akiyama. Leben is a damn beast i love em. I agree as it being an amazing card and even turn a few of my "Who want to watch gay guys roll around groping each other" into "Tonight turned me into a huge UFC fan" i really think it was bettrer then WEC48.
