Alright my reds apple ale recipe

For those of you that like reds apple ale I got the recipe tastes just like it just not as bubbly


First thing, 100% Apple juice if it has something you can't pronounce DONT USE THE SHIT

second a packet of dry active yeast I use fleischimann's dry active yeast

Now 2 cups of sugar



Open the brand new Apple juice and pour some out to accompany the sugar

Put sugar in the room temperature juice and shake until it dissolves

then put ONE pack of yeast into it and shake it well and let shit for a hour

Upon the hour carefully open the cap until you hear the release of pressure coming out

You know the SSSSSHHHHHH sound

Do not move the cap from that position

Let sit in a dark room or closest for 2 weeks

Open up the cap and put in freezer for 30mins to kill yeast and chill it

Now drink a glass and tell me that doesn't taste like reds apple ale enjoy

The alcohol content will be around 9% to 15%

I was down country over the weekend visiting a mate and took these pics of his setup in the garage. Technicallythis is poitin, but home distilled booze is home distilled booze,right?

Simple mash of sugar, water and turbo yeast. Water cooled stil, beer keg and tar burner.
Went in about 20% abv (40 proof?) And came out 70%. Second distillation after adding more water came out about 85% and very clean tasting. Tongue had a weird numbed feeling after tasting a couple of drops.

what did he ferment with the sugar anf yeast..and im unclear of the red and green hoses,is the cooling worm wrapped around the arm internally?..cool set up,ive seen stovetop distillers at wine/brewer shops(theres one inside every grow shop here) that i thought was cool..you can dump old beers and floaters in it and collect the alcohol..good for bad runs of beer or wine mess ups i suppose..

I think the cooling is just a case of cold water running in at 1 end of a 22mm pipe and out the other,and that has a 15mm pipe running through the middle which the vapor condenses in. Don't know if it works better than a worm, does need running water though. From the mains in this case,but could be pumped circularly from a barrel if mains water wasn't available.
The large copper pipe is stuffed with stainless steel wire, which helps the water to return to the beer keg and the alcohol vapor to rise to the condensor.
Apart from the large pipe and it's end cap I don't think there's anything that can't be got from MY local hardware store (small town), so realistically it's an easy home build for anyone with half a clue about plumbing.

I think the mash was just sugar, water, yeast in this case, but may be mistaken. I know the other 25 litre bucket had pearl barley in. This run was intended to be mixed up with apple and cinamon to make a final product, if I understood him right.
He got into this because he wanted to make a thc tincture for a friend with cervical cancer, and you can't get everclear (?) Over here. So he made his own.
Also makes a nice Magic [mushroom] Mead.

oh, the little stainless thing on the shelf is his old unit, cost 180 euro from the classified website donedeal.ie but it's been retired now...

I use a pressure cooker and one copper tube spiraling down.in a two litter of ice


It's simple small and just.right to make liquor but.its under repair right now

ty..just order them after doing research..simple..find the ones you need,then order em..they arent illegal untill you score the pods or make tea if im correct(im no jailhouse lawyer)

They're not your white afganhi variety, but they're not the useless red ones either.
Some pink, purple and black black ones I found and collected seed from. Made a tea with someheads, then collected up the goo left on the stems and got a little blob of sticky goodness. I collected quite a few seeds, so if you want to give em a try, I'll send you some out. Pm me an address, I'll see what I can do...

you can turn your pods into morphine in your kitchen(well,not the pods,but you get the idea)if you were inclined to do so..an extraction after conversion would net you a bit of "fuckedupedness" for awhile..or you could just drink the concoction(i recommend NOT recreating the utterly stupid actions in this clip...)
