I have been feeding very aggressively with House & Garden Cocos base nutrients as high as 2.00 EC every day once a day for the last 6 weeks. Plants are looking great until they got hit with Top Booster which usually tears the leaves up a bit.. Even though I tapered into it..
Normally my runoff is 20-30% hotter than my input due to sediments and salts I'm sure or other minerals etc.. E.g I feed 1400 PPM and I'll sometimes see over 2,200 PPM coming out.. The plants look like they are loving it and they're not small plants. These are each 4x4' wide 7 feet tall under 1000 Watt DE HPS fixtures running at 1000 Watts on the dot.
The PH I feed is always 5.8 in coco and my runoff ends up being around 5.9-6.1 I've noticed.. Which tells me that the plants aren't having a hard time eating most of the food or at least the PH balancers?
I've tried FEED > WATER > FEED > WATER and I always end up with hungry plants in coco even when using CalMag with the water. Wondering if anyone else has such a hot runoff?
