Tying Down Vs. Super Cropping?

Ok so my plants are all on day 40 veg. Greenhouse. They all look beautiful. I jus have a few questions. Ive already fimmed them, ive tied them down like 90degrees, and I also staircased pruned them to maximize sun to the lower nodes. Now my queztion is. Should I still super crop after ive already done lst's and fimming. Is there really anything elze I could do to maximixe yeild and potency??
This question is directed towards more experiencwd growers. Thx alot for your guys input. Lets hear wat ya got!!

LST, bending, supercropping its all the same, you are training the plant to be bushy, once your plant is the shape you want, your fine, remember these things dont necessarily increase crop size any more than adding lights all around the plant, cause the whole point is that you are increasing the surface area of leaves receiving light.

theres a big difference between tying down and supercropping. When you tie down, you simply bringing the top of that branch down exposing the inner nodes to more light. supercrop you bend the branch with redirects hormones to those lower nodes.
So the main difference is: supper cropping redirects hormones to lower node sites and gives them more light
Tying simply moves the top of the branch back, exposing more light.

Heres a good example of Tying you can see that those inner nodes are receiving more light. Before they were completely shaded

I personaly like tieing down...........i super croped all my plants this year and they get wide open sores and ended up pulling the branches back up to where they were in the first place. I tied on down and it seems to be lovin life

super crop if you no how but if ur just a newb tie that shit down(or if u have all day to tie shit down ) id rather just supercrop its way faster and if u do it rite u dont break the branches open.

picute this. pretend like u want to break my back and hip bones so my body will fold over but u dont want to break my skin so my blood and organs come out.. but even if u do cut the stem it usually heals with a fat knot

LST whenever possible, only supercrop if you know what you are doing and/or are able to afford the possibility of losing whole stems of bud. Just think about it for a second, trust me I tried.

Hell yea, cause man I seen some videos of supercropping n some people jus made it look horrible, I fimmed and tied all mine down, also staircase pruned them, and theyre lovin life. Theyre getting so big jus in the last week with the nutes I strated its crazy!!

i super croped mine proper and they still opened up. The wind moved the branchs and within 2 days the sides of each crop were split. And the blueberry i super cropped the main stem 8inches at a 90% angle and it grew at a 90 for 2 weeks then it slowly pulled the stock back 100% straight up again..............i super cropped every branch and they all pulled straight again. But it did take off like a rocket in the growth department. I had to pull and tie down the branches..........i found the best product to use to tie and spread branches is 12gauge solid coated copper wire ...............works deadly!!!!!!!!!!!
Im not sold on super crop for all strains...........ive seen it work well for some and wreck others 2 ft away.........plus it does stunt them slightly.

Yea he's right. Supercropping is similar to toping in that it does revert energy elsewhere. I supercrop indoors, but not out doors, like the last guy said too, some strains handle it much better than others for sure. But outside, in the wind and all, I would stick to tieing down.

Yea I have all my purple kush and most of my afghan kush tied down. Got a couple free growing. I really like tying down my plants because how they grow. My plant looks like a big open hand and all I can see is bud sites! Its awesome, also to anyone who doesnt, I would really reccommend fimmimg over topping. It makes such a difference

not first but i wouldnt say i was an expert............i grow once a year outside kinda guy

Yea. This year is my first ever outdoor grow. Got a greenhouse. Theyre awesome. Are u growing straight outdoor? Or greenhouse as well?
