what i want to ask is what is molasses good for and when should i start using it and how much? this is for indoor some were. and the 2nd thing is i started out a few did a test started one group in ol outdoor soil out of my garden. then i started one group in store bought high grade nice black light soil no nuts at all. the one in the ol ground soil are growing twice to three times better. i just started feeding them just a wee bit(1/2 the amount) because im getting a bit of yellow leafs in the grade A soil. NOW THE BAD THING IS the ol garden soil(grows the best) is getting a light mold started on the top of the soil when it gets dry how do i get rid of it? i have tride H pyroxcide with no luck. im one of them ol timers that has just put a few out side every year but think i want to try to do a few inside(have one time befor same place with good luck that time) going to try it again i think. thanks for any help i can get!! running a 400 hps and two 100w cfls one on each side of the 400.

Molasses provides a broad spectrum of supplemental nutrients as well as 'perfect' food for soil microbes which convert a majority of insoluble nutrients to soluble nutrients for the plan't benefit. Amounts vary between growers, if used at all.

Try a spoon and scrapping the mold cleanly off the surface, hopefully that solves the problem. There are many solutions to deal with mold, direct intense light is one.
