two much two little or just enough cfl grow;!!!! 1030w

I have built a grow cabinet the that is 2'wide,2'deap ,and 4'tall...
In side i have two cfl 75w tubes going up the walls on the right and left of the cabinet, then i have a huge 200w bulb in the middle of all plants coming up from the floor... now coming from the roof i have 3*110w bulbs 1*200w bulb and 2*75w bulbs!!! All of which are 6500k daylight bulbs ... in the cabinet i have 8*14 day old seedlings in seperate 1gal pots. is this lighting sufficient or overkill? keep in mind its all cfl.

keep an eye on your heat ..

It's overkill - but if you don't mind the electric bill and if your temps are in line you might as well. There going to be enough room in the cab for the plants?

Heat is mid to high 70's with lights on. Low 70's with lights off... and best part of it all is i dot pay the electric its included in the rent!!!

As for the plants that's why i did side lighting and bottom lighting so i can grow them all till about 2' then put half in the flower side and the other half stay get until i finish my orbs cabinet for larger plants and then they will go to flower as well maybe 3 to torpid weeks behind the smaller plants.

That's a lotta light you're using.
Do you think your landlord will notice the jump in the electric bill and let you continue?

Since we moved in we were real high power users now we changed to all energy saving bulbs and we use less electricity plus without the heat no ac. so the light will take its place.

Really?? You'd sacrifice heat/AC just to grow a couple plants?

We don't have a heater and the summer just ended so its not a sacrifice to not use the ac. cause its starting to get cold... but yes if those plants produce the right yield i would sacrifice for them!!!!
