two autos, one stalled flowering?

I have 2 candy kush autos with one just starting amber trichs, this one with who knows what (but it's relatively huge with lots of nodes) and a wipeout express auto seedling on day 5

Those really dark leaves usually means too much nitrogen. If it has too much nitrogen they will grow to the ceiling. And not produce the quantities you were going for.

I could be wrong it could be a light thing making it look dark.

I have more luck now that I check TDS going in coming out. Then use those numbers to adjust nutrients.

Here's the difference in size between the two as of today. Now, the smaller one is in a 1 gallon pot and the larger in a 3 gallon pot, same soil, same watering and feeding and light timing.

Well that’s a huge difference my friend. 1 gallon vs 3 gallon. I missed that when I read it earlier. That’s for sure why it’s smaller. If you fed the same feeding schedule it might have overfed the smaller plant.

that last pic was right after watering, not curling. They are really not that dark, probably lighting. I've added zero nitrogen since day one

I'm actually cool with the smaller one. It's right on schedule for an auto, small but will be what I expect. My issue is actually with the larger one. It's not moving fast enough at 10 weeks.

I’m a believer in more wattz. Get them up. I’m using 600 in a 2.5x 2.5. I’m getting 6oz and up from them. That’s every 10 weeks. I can’t smoke that much so therefore I end up with surplus.

Oh ok I misunderstood that. I would just wait it out and be patient. Make sure you wait to harvest until it’s ready to maximize returns. I struggle with this each time I make an excuse to chop.

I'm definitely leaning toward your advice. This would be the tallest auto I've grown if it produces. I'm leveraging all lighting possible at this point. My lighting is funky lol. A blend of leds all cobbled together at about 300 total. It's produced some great buds in the past but this beast (beast for me) may need more

I forgot to mention I also start germinating my next seed about 3 weeks from chop. I stick it in the corner and let it go until I chop. Then it has the entire light

20/4 will maximize and still give plant rest. 18/6 is used by a lot of people as well. I’m thinking if you’re already behind increasing length of time light is on might help.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. But 18/6 is the right amount of light, well the max I can do due to timing. So, I just jacked it back up today. But it's super curious that I have this so called auto taking 10 weeks to flower. She showed her sex all over right at the same time the other did. But she decided she's not your standard auto, or an auto at all (we will see soon enough). I wish I had an auto test. Just tell me yes or no, that's all i need :)

Ive seen a few people on here who would like one.

I think wait it out be patient and find a good auto flower feeding schedule on here or anywhere else for next time. Something got messed up somewhere. Just narrow it down and try to prevent next time.

It's a constant state of learning. One day this works, the next day it doesn't. Definitely a hobby for me and I love it.

I will post all pics and do a diary on this one

My biggest mistake was watering too often. It’s a part time hobby. So many times there is nothing to do.

So I this one kept growing but seems to have slowed in height. I cropped a lot of leaves a few days ago to get some light and air into the important looking areas. If it wasn't almost 12 weeks in I'd be fine with the progress. Just today I'm getting a hint of smell, but just a hint. I've been back on 18/6 20200314_155306[2].jpg20200314_155311[1].jpg20200314_155420[1].jpg20200314_155407[1].jpgfor about a week now.

Any thoughts on this progress of a supposed auto? It's not a normal scenario for me since the sister of this plant was harvested 4 days ago.
