Two 125 or one 400

Im using a small veg. cabinet 17" wide x 48" long x 48" height i have (2) 125 watt CFL (veg ) and a 400 watt HID Metal Halide with 6" glass tube air cooled (will be using 250 CFM inline fan pulling A/C room air thru it). Which one would you use. Here is the pro and con to me. CFL less electricity, less heat no need for air cooling fan (but the CFL do give off some heat. 400 Metal halide more electricity, more heat need to run cooling fan , an 250 cfm might not be enough to keep ambient temps down in such small space might have to go to 465 CFm and that sucker pulls about 175 Watts x 18 hours ouch. But halide puts out more lumens but causes a little more strecthing than CFL. So i am torn the light maniac in me says more lumens, lumens, lumens but with lumens comes heat which is a bad thing so then you have to cool the hell out of it. So if you were in this situation what would you do? ( i already have these lights so im not gonna shell out for like a 250 MH) Opinions most appreciated.

There is no comparison to be made between the capabilities of the two lighting options.

Find a way to make the 400-watt light work, period, thee end.

the 400W will be much more efficient and a 400W and all the fans will only cost about $18 a month to operate.
