Twisting leaves & abnormal growth

I have some Afghan in a 1-gallon pot sitting on a bottom 1/3 Subcool Super Soil & a top layer of FFOF & FFLW as my base soil. I didn't let the super soil bake, instead I inoculated it with some compost tea & then transplanted out of my solo cup into my 1 gallon.

She hasn't been happy since the transplant and her new leaves have an odd curve to them, are very skinny compared to her sisters in coco, and her leaf serrations also look like they're fraying.

Does anybody have an idea of what's happening?

Soil is just a bit too hot. That clawing is probly from N toxicity. Next time add some coco and perlite to your mix to lighten it up for tender young roots. Letting the mix set for a month after adding raw organic materials is always good practice. Normalizes the ph which I'm guessing is too acidic right now. The fix is to simply water as normal; don't try to "flush." Should look better in a few weeks.
Are you using any granular mycorrhizae? Assists with absorbtion even in a ferocious mix. Sprinkle it in the hole at transplants & place the root ball right in it. Strengthens plants in soil like nothing else can.

Nice thanks for the input! I'm using Great White at my transplant zone.

Lower the ph of it, distilled is like 7.5
Try to lower it to 5. You’ll see the difference within hours

You have a nutrient lockout because of high ph in your soil. Get a 3 way soil meter, it’ll help you with ph, moist and even light distance for your plants

I haven't used distilled water personally, but I have used tap water from two states both with ph over 8. not sure of the ppm of these two different cities water I have grown in, but have never had an issue from using tap at either source with high ph. just curious, were you fully organic when you ran into issues with high ph water sources?

sorry, just curious of your experience since I've been seeing a lot of people suggesting to adjust water ph in organic grows.

Yeah organic, for some reason my soil was at 8. All I did was lower my water ph and next day it was all better. I recommend that 3 way soil meter. Can’t ever go wrong with that
