Hey everyone I am currently using some miracle grow potting soil mix and the plant is almost a week old. The temp stays in the 77-83 range only once have i seen it even get into the 90's and it was for like 20 minutes cus a fan turned off. I am using cfls to grow my plants and have not added any nutrients just basic watering. The water ph is about 6.0 to 6.3 and I was just wondering what is going on with my plant? in the picture you can see the spots of yellow beginning and the leaves are curling. I dont know if there curling to get outside the cup or because of a deficient. any advice would be appreciated.

off the top of my head i would say its the start of a phosphorus dificiency, plant use the higest level of phosphorus during germination, cloning and flowering.
i would also calibrate your PH meter.

It's pH lockout 100%. Check your soil's pH, it is definitly off.

This kind of lockdown is usually confused with P def, but without the right pH, adding P won't help at all.

all wrong ph may be off but its not a phosphorus deficiency, there r no signs or blue or purple hue on the leaves which are the first sign before yellowing happens with phosphorus deficiency, which is a mobile nutrient that is not stored in the plant for long periods of time

Sure, in a mature plant, not a seedling, where pH lockdown and P def look like this. The only difference is the twisty leaves that give away the pH problem.

I would say a transplant would probably be your best option as your plant looks like it's in about a 6-8 oz cup. Leaves twisting like that is usually a sign of pH problems. As long as you transplant into some decent soil with a good pH that should easily take care of your problems. I think the plant actually looks pretty good given the conditions it is in right now. Best of luck my friend.

Thank you very much Doc for the compliment. I will be transplanting shortly to fox farms ocean forest soil in hopes this will take care of the problem. I definently need to pick up a digi ph meter these strips suck ass haha. after transplant i will see how they do, if the problem is still occurring definently send another picture and message in here:)
