I rarely ever use it. I think why they're happier with the citric sometimes is that it helps chealate the extra Ca in my water and helps flush it it of the root zone a little. That's why I started using it to begin with. But I can't say for sure. Still experimenting. You could also start watering with Humic acids and forget about having to use citric acid to pH. Humic acids will help buffer the pH of the soil wether it’s acidic or alkaline! Plus as an added bonus Humic acids will bind up heavy metals, boost soil life by feeding the microbes, bind up salts, stimulate root growth, increase nutrient uptake, help tackle disease, improve drought tolerance, & improve the soil structure. Seems like an all around win to me, it’s truly amazing stuff which is why I now religiously use Humic’s & my girls absolutely love it! And when I say religiously I’m talking EVERY water from start to finish.
*FYI be careful using Humic’s if your in a heavily amended soil as it will unlock the amendments much quicker & could lead to problems

I've given plain 7.8 pH well water for the last few sessions. But I just tried adding the Organics Alive shit and checked pH. That didn't change it at all, so they got 7.8 again tonight, but with a tiny bonus.
Is that the Mondi thermometer?Day 9 today. I got some Organics Alive shit to try and so I'm testing it. I added 1/2 TBLS of both the 10-2-2 Veg and the 0-10-8 to 4 gal water to test it out.
Few pics. Buds are just forming.

This some good shit right here.....Liquid humic or dry like Down to Earth?
Haha. Ya, the battery's been dead for awhile though. I don't know why I still have it there really, lol.
I use the ThermPro and sensors. 3 rooms.

Haven't read all the posts, but anyhoo... Plant turgidity reduces between waterings, and the increased turgidity from watering proceeds upwards and it is the discrepancy in turgidity near the meristem where newly-formed, easily distorted leaves are that causes the softer petioles, in particular to, er, 'act up'...I've been getting twisted leaves after I water, but they un-twist after a bit.
Your hot water added ppms, could be from Ca buildup in your hot water heater. Were they twisting before u flipped?
Seen youve been mixing hot tap water. Is that from another source? If not compare the PPMs
My hot water tap comes out about 5-6ppm higher than my fresh kitchen tap which is 38ppm
Made me think. 5/6 ppms of what? Copper?
I get those twisting tips a lot when my autos are in there stretching period. Although last run didn’t get the twist and stopped using hot tap water.. don’t know if it’s coincidental or what.
If the soil u suspect is acidifying over time there will be a bigger discrepancy between what you are giving them and the soil.
Just ordered a Key of this humic acid. Backorder shipment from Columbia.Humics man!
Be careful with it. Humics are powerful shit.Just ordered a Key of this humic acid.

What's a good starting dose on humic? I'm a bit stumped on my 5g fan leaf fades...can't figure out which problem im having and i wanna try humic and epsom salt one at a time and see how each affectsBe careful with it. Humics are powerful shit.
Calcium mostlyI heard people with well water have alot of sodium build up too
Great advice. I'm always really cautious at first. I'll do like 1/4 tsp per gal when I try it. But the Kilos are on backorder so it's gonna be awhile before I try this stuff.Be careful with it. Humics are powerful shit.
I'm inclined to agree. The plant looks great. The twisting of the leaves is likely due to air pressure. Rotate the plants, and either distance the fan, or turn it down. That big ass fan do you have it speed reduced?.Would think even on low it would be a hurricane in there lol.
