Twin seed?

So just starting out on my first go and it seems like one of the two seeds I've popped has 2 shoots emerging, Just looked online and its saying its pretty rare, should i try and breed it to keep the genetics or just enjoy double the fruit?

You sure there's not 2 seeds in there? :p
Considering the distance between them.

Personally I wouldn't clone it, I don't see why you should but it might become a cool-looking plant so if you like it, go for it! Now that I think about it, if you cloned it that would probably just be a normal clone.

Btw don't make my mistake, get some perlite or clay pebbles in your coco to prevent root-rot. Many people make pure coco work just fine but I just messed it up myself and regret not putting 30% perlite in there.

It was just one seed, planted 1 in each pot, already mixed in some perlite under the surface level

actually it is very possible they are both from one seed. I’ve personally had it happen with C99 genetics I had at one point. I had one plant that was a twin at germination, and later used a clone from that plant to make a cross with a male plant I selected. When I ran seeds from that cross I encountered multiple more twin seedlings from single seeds. I even passed seeds to several other growers, and got reports of twin seedlings from them as well.

that being said I don’t believe that it being a twin at germination had anything to do with anything really. In my experience usually one of the two twins will grow slower and often die so I usually just keep one of them.
 
Ok, well my bad ..like I've seen afew different mutations during germination, one a friend had a seedling that had two nodes connected to the main stem, but I've never seen or heard of twins from a seed...that is totally new to me, and i just got told it's not really uncommon, very cool

for what it’s worth I was totally surprised when it first happened to me, and immediately got on here and other places and started trying to figure it out. I certainly wouldn’t call it a common occurrence but every once in a while you get funny genetics.
 
Here's the weird thing, the seeds emerged on top of one of the shoots, so its sprouted and pushed itself out! lol
