Day 99 - 1/8/2021

So Big Bud is dry and ready for trimming and jarring. Unfortunately I have other projects that will keep me from doing that. Maybe tomorrow. For now it's staying in the dry closet at about 58F and 48% RH.

Turned the Timber Fatty VS down to 600w from 700w. I think it was a little too much for these, wish I brought it lower earlier. I fooled myself into thinking more power = better flowers, despite knowing the reality. The Lemon Auto finally starting showing light stress, quickly. After a good feed and less light she's bounced right back to wonderful.

Switched the new group of six Dragon Funk to Jack's 3-2-1. Half strength. Mega Crop 1 part was giving them nitrogen toxicity. Might be all done with Mega Crop if they grow out well. It's impossible to scoop out the same amount of the different materials everytime. :cuss:

I did sections of the plant at a time starting with the outsides. This last tray was mostly middles where the light wasn't as good. As a result a bunch of this was larf or just not dense enough for me to trim. Going to have a fantastic trim/larf bag for edibles.

Final result for Big Bud: 188g = 6.6 oz

The Dragon Funk is just thriving on the Jack's 3-2-1. In an effort to simplify my life I started mixing up only Jack's, even for everything in flower. I can mix three 5 gallon buckets worth at a time and not have to worry about the bucket forming scum after a few days. The Mega Crop became a mess after more than two days sitting. The other issue with Mega Crop 1 part is the inconsistency of scoops. Sometimes you'll get a ton of cal-nit balls and other times not as much. I'm already mixing multiple different additives (silicon,cal/mag, and epsom salts) so it's not really a 1 part anymore anyways. Might as well try to do it right :D

The Dragon Funk leaves are silky smooth. Not sure if it's the genetics, the Jack's, or my skills/knowledge getting slightly better with each grow. Regardless of what it is, I'm most definitely impressed with their growth and health.

Day 109 - 1/18/2021

So I knew there would come a day I wouldn't be able to keep up with daily updates for my grows. It happened, and at first I was kind of upset, but it's also come as quite a relief. I've enjoyed sharing what I've done so far, and plan in the future to come back and post more regular updates.

Anyways...

BCN Critical XXL is still churning. Ready to be chopped at any point. I didn't even check trichomes but it's ready.

Day 111 - 1/20/2021

BCN Critical XXL was chopped down the other day and the worst auto I've grown the Northern Lights Auto took it's place. I hated that plant from go. Maybe great material for edibles or tinctures though.

The six Dragon Funk photoperiods now have room to spread out without the NL in there.
