my guess is it is basicaly impossible to NOT have some sort of impurities

i am sure they were shocked too

this has nothing to do with knowing about growing…..it has to do with zero

impurities of any kind….

it was probably fine herb…just zero may not be able to be achieved…

you can have all the qa people you want

the guy can be a great grower and still have .. .00000000000001% impurities
I would rather take natures impurities over mans impurities any day. Regardless of any research or bullshit anyone spats out here nature over man every time because she knows how to take care of the world.

Well...

After reading 12 pages of this and seeing all that's been going on since their first shipment, I'm pretty bummed out by Tweed.....Especially as a young (student) investor who put in some of my hard-earned cash into their company...

It looked nice a few weeks ago, before talk of irradiation and before seeing pictures of those shitty buds...

My condolences, Johnny, and to all the others who got ripped off here....Now I'm debating whether to cost-average down when their share price hits rock-bottom and see if they can recoop something within the next year, or to sell outright at a loss....

Kinda hurts because this is something I believe in, and I thought that Tweed, being a large company with compassionate pricing options, would uphold these values....

But irradiating product? It doesn't look like they have the staff to manage every square inch that they have to cover.... If there's plants being damaged and need for irradiation?...

Thoughts on this? Think they can swing their shit into gear over the forthcoming months -- and harvests -- or are they going to be old news pretty soon?
Man: this is the first true & honest conversation that I have herd since all began, the MMAR patients warned and warned, but no one was listening?? some have been fighting Health Canada for 12 years, this is a case of people jumping in with out reading the fine fine Print from Hell Canada welcome to the I got screwed by Hell Canada Club.

If you were to put together a commercial system that were to work, It would have to be in BC and outdoors, you can not grow 150,000 sq feet of plants indoors, you can get amazing results in small areas indoors.

If that happened to you as a patient would you stay? As an investor I believe your questions are answered with the first question.
Exactly, Jackal.

As an investor I can afford to hold..... But I of course cannot afford for them to go bankrupt...I am not unfamiliar with these situations, unfortunately.

However, I know that patients cannot afford to "hold" when quality of life is on the line... I empathize for anyone who is going through that, especially those dealing with life-threatening illness...

They've said they'll be providing strains which have and have NOT undergone irradiation -- so it will be up to the consumer....

But shipping immature / wet buds is another issue.... I think they just fast-forwarded to try to meet a demand and failed with their first attempt...

As was previously mentioned, there is money there, but we cannot be guaranteed as to where money is flowing into.... I just hope they improve their conditions there -- whatever it is that is polluting their buds (old Hershey Kisses or what?) and not refrain from further man-made quick-fixes...

I know what you are saying, but I have been on the investershub, and boasting about 400,000 patients in a year and how the doctors will be signing for as much as a general painkiller, these are the people that are munpulating good people like yourself. that site has the worst capitolists with the morals to go along with them Moral Ajustment Required MAR lol.

Yeah, it's a big old cesspool filled with capitalist sharks.... I saw a lot of shit a while back with OTC stocks....Little cannabis companies show up, try and push their stock like nuts, then fall under the carpet.... Little guy beware!...

I thought this seemed like a legit setup anyway....So I hope they can do something still. I have personal reasons for liking Arizer as well, so I thought it seemed cool that they were kinda teamed up with them.

I know there are people out there who are happy with the shitty nuked buds they received from Tweed, and so I hope this is at least reflected by strong financials on the next quarterly report.... But hell, I wouldn't want to use anything that has been irradiated and stripped of any medicinal properties. Is the irradiation process still required by Health Canada? I read an outdated report on that and I assumed it has since been changed with the MMAR, correct? But it's the new MMPR that's messing everybody up...

I still agree that we should all just be able to grow in that spare guest bedroom :)

At about a buck higher than where it sits right now....And I thought we were all thinking the same positive energy given the super HIGH volume of trades at that point.

I'd consider getting more if the downtrend continues and sends us to $1.00 or less.... (which I hope not).... But based on their facility alone I would think they would HAVE to rekindle their position at some point over the next year....

But then I'm hearing about a new court hearing next Spring which might result in more law changes (which I wouldn't be adverse to if they are COMPASSIONATE and for the patient). I don't mind losing out on this if it's for the greater good at the end of the day, but I hate being lied to by a company and losing money based on bullshit hype and fluttery emotions one way or another...

They should have pushed back until their second batch was ready and maybe have sent out some better product.... Might have been better publicity for them, especially if the meds aren't sufficient for the patients.

I know there's a lot of other people who want to slander Tweed for their own personal reasons, having connections with other producers, etc, or wishing for the old system to return.... So it's difficult to sift through all that and not let our emotions get the better of us....

No No not me, besides the fact I saw this coming, it's all longterm, little interest, nobody will get rich on my money. I am only there to try to explain that this system has never worked, and Health Canada has never won in court and they won't this time.

I have to go with an LP, as I have no other legal way as of yet, tweed goes to the bottom of the list that I would never reach because if I do have to reach it there is something very wrong with this system that would make me go through 12 LP's
Down there with the now defunct Greenleaf medicinals

you on investershub? one idiot there DB Brown Keeps deleting my Posts so as I am trying to warn people of a train wreck, He's deleting the very important Information for people to make rational decisions. instead of talking to bias Stakeholdersyou should be researching what health Canada has done to Patients, or MMAR Court Rulings, to find out the history before you put money down.

Ahh what a prick that guy is.... I'm sorry to hear that. Fortunately I have my whole life ahead of me to fix my poor mistakes....and if I don't live that long then it won't matter anyway ;)
I did check out Investor's Hub, but I am generally wary of forums/etc and rely mostly on balance sheets and my own research.

I can see how the system's messed up....especially when considering the heavy medical needs of some patients. I mean, no way is somebody going to be able to pay for a pound/month of medicine at even 5 bucks a gram....Especially if they're an MS patient or something.

And that makes sense, Jackal. I have not read much into many of the other LPs, but I do have the master list of them all through HC..... I have heard that a lot of them are struggling with supply as well, but I haven't heard any irradiation bogus... I'm tellin' you guys it's the Hershey plant, maaaaaan!

So basically you guys are locked in to choosing between the LPs until there is yet another court hearing next spring....

I have been in the MMAR for three years, I was the same way, I felt I needed to be legal, the old application process it took 11 months from being diagnosed to receving my ATP, I filled out application and had my reports faxed to my Compassion Club 2 days later they called and I had immediate access, this was 3 weeks in to my 11 month wait "to be legal, so you see why I say there is already a Distrabution system in place. I have never ran out, and have never had shake or crumbs as these are marked as Roll ready and are $4.00 a gram.

yep, the main reason I won't sign is I have my Personal production Licence, to be honest enjoy growing as much as the bud. All the MMAR Patients got a letter saying that if we didn't destroy all our medicine by apr. 1 HC would notify police to arrest us, they are willing to put sick people in jail for this. sic bastards

Interesting what the Cannabis Monograph states about irradiation.

Irradiation should not be allowed on cannabis until further testing and studies are conducted.
Again Health Canada violating there own Regulations, and picking and choosing which ones to follow.

Wow... That is NUTS! And the new mandatory minimums are in effect as well, aren't they? 6 plants = 6 months = done deal, correct?
These fuckers man...

I'll gladly forfeit my whole position in Tweed if it meant getting this fixed.... I'm glad I popped on here -- I can see the breadth of the problem a little better now....

If the GOV would let me grow enough of it in my backyard I'd be giving the stuff away for nothing haha. That is seriously disgusting. But you still have a personal production license that is valid? I heard that the courts said that they're allowing old licenses (under the MMAR) to be used until the LP and weed shortage situation gets worked out -- so by that merit are you "allowed" to grow right now?

This country's judicial system is something else.... You can show your wang to kids on a playground and be in less trouble than for growing weed.... Unreal....

Old licences under MMAR are status quo per court ordered injunction of March 21, till the results of a court case scheduled for Feb 23/15 are ruled on.
