I think the owners got old and gave it up. It's a very sad thing. There's another place selling similar nutrients in Utah, called PowerGrow;

The product is all but identical, prices are similar.
Ya, I saw a change when the old head cheese Mike Morton retired. Used to be the absolute best source for accurate hydroponic growing information. Still have some of their old paper catalogs tucked away in a drawer for occasional browsing :peace:

How’s everything? Just started a small winter run, had a few th.seeds chocolate chunks, and a critical cheese candy popped plus one very old pure afghan from DNA seeds. Then ordered stuff to make STS on Amazon. It’s gonna be a wile before I know how good they are but I like to be ready w feminizing spray if I get lucky. Oh well happy holidays to all!

ty,,,ever make STS?

No, I can't say that I have. In part because I don't know what STS is? Lol

Hey Ty, any advice on new led lights? I’m planning on getting a new one for the 4/20 sales. Looking to cover a 4x6 ft area .. lots of people recommending Hlg scorpion diablo x, but I’m really unsure, I like a lot of new fixtures and wonder what’s your take?

Honestly I've kinda been out of the loop for a few years. HLG built their reputation on top notch customer service so the value is there even if they're more expensive.

Depending on space I am loving the Bios Endeavor 650W. Real Glass Diode protection! Did I say real glass diode protection?
GML suspect AF if those lights have conformal coating over UV diodes?

Fuck. Time flies... But I'm still around if anyone wants to chat.

Just a general observation; vertical grows have exploded across the indoor cultivation world but this forum is still a backwater. WTF?
I have to confess that I want to try a vertical run....but haven't done it....mostly because all my lights are designed for placement directly overhead.

There's vertical and then there's vertical. Stacked trays is vertical but to do it well you need to run sea of green or a crazy amount of training. Also, getting higher gets progressively trickier in terms of safety, access, environmental control, ventilation, etc. And of course you need high ceilings.

Vertical plane grows need some training but the plant already wants to grow up. Getting them to fill in a big trellis is just a matter of training, time and proper lighting. Also, high ceilings are useless- so that cuts both ways. On the other hand, if you have regular height spaces of roughly 7-9', vertical plane kicks ass.

It all depends on what you want to do.

I believe I've been remiss in that I haven't posted any pics or discussed any details.

So, what people did not understand at the other site was that I'm not in this for seeds or glory, I'm here to find a better, cheaper way to grow it indoors and keep the quality.

Yes, I have a diverse stable of strains, to better test the equipment with. They've all been gifted, often closely held clones, I haven't popped a seed in this millennium.

Often, I test things to their limits, even beyond. This isn't 'failure', it's 'experience!'

The fact is that like learning any new technology, there is a learning curve. Currently, I'm on it, and I'm seeing extremely promising early results. I have a ways to go to see the potential of the system realized, but rest assured I'll get there!
:weed:
with todays , lower plant counts this will be a a way to get a little more from each plant!
