Hello everyone first post here. I'm growing my first 2 plants, one is a chocolate thai clone and the other is a big band seedling. The clone has developed some spots and squiggly lines on the some leaves. Also the very lowest leaves have some sort of dust on them. It was pretty hard to get a pic of the dust but you can see it somewhat. It shows up in spots. It seems like minor problems but I'd rather be safe than sorry and ask some more knowledgeable people.
The chocolate thai is about 20in tall and is being kept in my closet under a 400w metal halide. I've been running 18/6 for about the past 2 or 3 weeks. I'm running one exhaust at the top into my attic with ducting running to the outside and I'm bringing in fresh air by opening the door when the lights are on. Also using one 8in fan for circulation.
they are growing in miracle gro mixed with perlite and fertilized with supernatrual grow terra at 700ppm. Pure protein was also added to the water.
I also have questions about topping plants. I topped the big band yesterday and it is on it's 5th node now I believe. Is that too early? When should I top it next and about how many times throughout it's life? The yellow leaves on the bottom are from when I burned it at 350ppm a while back when it was smaller but it's recovering now.
Here are some pics, thanks in advance!
